Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

999 Attitudinal Adjustment

I continue to get e-mails from Herman Cain's PAC, Solutions Revolution. The latest tells about the 30 candidates for Congress who have pledged to support 999. I take a little different view of 999 than many dedicated FairTaxers. (so what else is new, Dave?) So far there is no proposal pending in Congress for Herman's plan. Assume for the sake of the argument we grassroots FT activists, manage to pry HR25 out of committee for a floor vote. Assume again all 30 are seated next year. It is my contention that virtually all of them would support the FairTax when it comes time.

It seems a failure of western thinking that any given issue must be one way or the other. There are at least two other logical possibilities: both and neither.
