Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25 and S 122

I recently attended several organizational meetings for A.F.P. designed to form a grass roots group in Lincoln City, Oregon. When introductions were being made by each individual at the meeting I mentioned my support of FairTax legislation and that I was looking for ways of promoting FairTax in my community. The state chairman for A.F.P. was present and indicated that the national organization was evaluating proposed FairTax legislation and at the present had not come out in support of the FairTax. Has anyone explored A.F.P. and is it an organization the might help promote The FairTax? I am doing what I can to get support here but it would seem that this should also be approached at the national level. Americans For Prosperity is a non partisan organization that takes on issues dealing with the economics of government at a local, state, and federal level by communicating issues to it's members and then helping to organize efforts to promote governmental financial responsibility. It seems to me that the FairTax would solve a lot of the issues the are and will be coming up to A.F.P..

I'd be interested to find out 'why' they have not come out in support of the FairTax?

What is holding them back?

They have had a LONG time to 'evaluate' it.

I will see if our organizers have an answer as to why. The organization could be very helpful as our two meetings have had an attendance of about 30 folks wanting to take action. We have a 4th of July tea party going,

The next meeting, I will ask the why question. I did not have a chance earlier. I think it would be a very good organization to get behind our efforts.

Keep on them.....don't let them wiggle out.

If they say they need to evaluate.....I can send you a DVD and literature if you need them.
Books are cheap....I'll throw in a few bucks when I can.
