another reason for the FairTax: from the L. A. Times 1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County ( L. A. County has 10.2 million people)are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants working without a green card.

"Kalifornia" would be wise to adopt a FairTax solution to their problem. Their current system only serves to drive businesses and jobs out of state and thereby reducing their income from all areas in terms of personal income and corporate taxes while they continue to provide services to all of those illegals who don't pay a dime. Is it any wonder why they are on the verge of bankruptcy?
Turn that system around and stop taxing businesses and watch how they will not only return to CA but expand as well. More income = more spending = more revenues. Why is that so hard for those idiots to figure out?
