dems now have supermajority in the senate (60)
I just saw on drudge report, that the dems now have a supermajority. Expect for more crackpot legislation to come steaming through capital hill any day now.

No they don't. They have 59. Al Franken hasn't been seated, and won't be for several months.

None the less, our Fair Tax work isn't a partisan issue and we must conitinue to advance suppport and apply pressure on our legislators to get this piece of legislation passed. Dems, Republicans, makes no difference. This is an American issue and not a party issue. This is where we must keep our focus. Ideologies have no bearing on the Fair Tax. My mom, a Dem, was right there with me at the Tax Day Tea Party in support of the Fair Tax.

They have the same super-majority they've always had--because of Snowe, Collins and Specter. Good riddance. At least Specter isn't lying about his loyalties anymore and with this being his second change of party, just to get elected, he shows how shallow and unprincipled he has always been.
