What if the only tax you pay the federal government

is one you don’t have to calculate or report?

Only the FairTax:

• treats everyone the same
• let’s you keep your entire paycheck
• pays you your taxes if you’re poor
• doesn’t know whether you’re poor or rich
• eliminates the IRS and 72,000 pages of tax code
• costs the government less than 1% to collect
• brings jobs back to the U.S.

My name is Tom Freeman and I am the FairTax DD for NJ8. I am leading an effort in NJ to convince WABC-770AM radio to add Neal Boortz to their line-up. I have reached out to our NJ and NY organizations. I am hoping to get the CT FairTaxers in the WABC listening area to assist in my efforts.

I think there is an excellent opportunity to add the voice of the FairTax to a region where it is sorely needed.

I am asking all FairTax supporters to go to WABC's website (here is the link ) and leave a comment asking them to add Neal Boortz to their line-up.

Please forward to your contacts and let me know if you sent a message. I would like to have an ability to measure the effectiveness of this campaign.

I received this e-mail today. If this is your congressman, don't you think it is time for him to leave office? At least send him a message that we do NOT want anymore taxes; we want the FairTax!


Today, Congress once again ignored what Americans want and introduced a new gasoline tax as part of a global warming bill that also contains a cap and trade energy tax on utilities. The section on the gas tax begins on p. 361.

Introduced by Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT), this bill requires American oil companies to pay a fee to the government for their global warming emissions.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who helped craft the gas tax, admitted the fee "will be passed on" to motorists in the form of higher gasoline prices.

But Senators Kerry and Lieberman are offended that any American would dare call it a gas tax.

Don't be fooled. This is a government requirement that will increase the cost of gasoline. It's a tax. So not only will we have to pay more for gas, we have the added insult of Senators insisting that what we can plainly see as a new gas tax is not actually a gas tax.

The American people know better. And according to an American Solutions poll, 71% of Americans oppose this new gas tax, even if politicians are insisting it is not a gas tax.

In addition, this bill creates a cap and trade system that will dramatically increase the cost of residential and commercial electricity prices.

Even the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says cap and trade will kill jobs and reduce American productivity.

With one bill, Congress will raise gasoline and electricity prices, raise the cost of energy, and kill jobs. This is not the way to create jobs and prosperity.

This bill is wrong for America. Will you help us defeat it?

We need to get information about this new tax to as many people as possible in the next 48 hours.

The initial charge of the Council is to represent the grassroots and make more effective use for the grassroots of resources available to it from Americans for Fair Taxation. The charge is also to develop a strategic plan to grow the grassroots.

Hi Philip

We need to build a base in Connecticut. One thing you can do is spread the word to people you know in your town. Also contact Senators Dodd and Lieberman along with your Representative. There is a upcoming Tea party in Hartford on 7/4. I'm hoping to get some volunteers to pass out fair Tax literature at this event. Former Rep. Rob Simmons of the 2nd Congressional District is challenging Chris Dodd for the U.S. Senate. Simmons was interviewed by Dan Lovallo of WDRC-AM and took calls. I called and asked Simmons if he would support The Fair Tax Act.

He replied he will support a major overhaul of the income tax code and explained how the estate tax effected his mother's estate but he did not specifically say he would support The Fair Tax. I suggest we contact his campaign to explain to his staff The Fair Tax.
