Tea Parties Stand on the Fair Tax
I recieved this response from The Tea Party when asked Yes or NO if the contract with America includes the Fair Tax:
Phil,
The CFA's 5th point is Fundamental tax reform, which calls for a simple single-rate tax system. That could be either a flat tax or the Fair Tax. We're leaving the option open because either would be better than the current mess, and at this stage we should be united in getting fundamental tax reform on the agenda.

I'm not real happy about it, sounds like the Tea Party is starting to sound like the rest of the Government!!!

I vote for the Tea Party and the Fair Tax. So far I have not had to choose between the two.
