5/19 is our monthly Fairborn FairTax meeting at Roush's Restaurant. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. We will be discussing Steve Austria, the DDN, the Fairborn Liberty group, and FairTax updates. We have made great strides this year, now is not the time to ease up. The restaurant is located at 305 W. Main St. and everyone is welcome!!

Hey.. Ohio Fairtax folks. If you're not aware of the Ohio Healthcare Freedom Amendment effort, please check out www.theohioproject.com! The need is urgent. Hundreds of thousands of signatures are needed by the end of June!

Did you vote in the Primary? If you didn't do you feel you have a right to complain about our government? The results from the current election, do NOT look like we had many Tea Party/FairTax people voting. I would like to see change; but not the change we are getting with the present congress.

On May 15 the Medina County Friends And Neighbors (MCFAN) is proud to host the Raging Elephants training presentation. Brought to Ohio by the Abigail Adams Project, Raging Elephants (http://www.ragingelephants.org/) gives us the training we need to reach out to Minorities and help them to break the bonds of servitude to the Democrat party. The Raging Elephants nationwide tour is an urban "missionary" effort featuring Apostle Claver, a dynamic and inspirational speaker. There is no charge for admission to this important educational event.

Raging Elephants will be presented at the First Baptist Church at 3646 Medina Road (Route 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. It is approximately 1 mile west of I-71 on SR-18, convenient to almost all of North East Ohio. The program will begin at 4 PM, break for dinner at 6 PM, resume at 7 PM and conclude at 8:30 PM.

The training is free and open to the public. For dinner, food will be available to purchase courtesy of Joey's Southside Burgers in the gymnasium of the church, you may bring a sack dinner, or there are a number of restaurants available in the area.

Americans for Prosperity wrapped up the Ohio swing of its Regulation Reality Tour at J.T.M Food Group in Harrison, Ohio. In just two days, Americans for Prosperity visited 5 cities and hundreds of Ohioans who refuse to allow Washington DC to regulate away our freedom and prosperity.

Coal miners, manufacturers, farmers, construction workers, restaurant owners, small business owners, distributors, and other concerned citizens and energy users in Ohio joined together this week to ask Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown to support the Murkowski Resolution and stop the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from implementing the cap-and-trade energy tax regulation.


At our first stop in Medina, one business leader told us that he has figured out how to beat his competition in China, but he can’t figure out how to fight his own government. He said it is government regulation that is impeding his business.

In Dover, leaders in Ohio’s vibrant coal industry explained that Ohio will be hit harder than some states by the EPA’s cap-and-trade regulations. Over 87 percent of Ohio’s electricity comes from coal. Under the regulations, Ohio’s coal production would fall by over 70% over the next several years. This will kill jobs and cause our electricity prices to skyrocket.

We need to put pressure on Senator Sherrod Brown to vote YES on the Murkowski Resolution that will rein in the EPA by forcing a full regulatory review of this job killing, out-of-control bureaucracy and their attempt to implement cap-and-trade through the backdoor. The vote on the Murkowski Amendment is expected sometime next week so please contact Senator Brown now!

Frank,
I don't vote for people who arn't willing to answer my questions. A person who walks away from me, shows me they arn't really out to serve the people. I don't vote for any established record. I vote for someone who shows me how much they care. Like I said. Brenda Lewis comes across as being a cold fish. I also feel when a person is placed in a group they should talk as thou they already hold the office. Don't tell me what you have done, tell me what you can do. Cynthia Bieghler, did exactly that. We don't have to guess if she is for Fairtax, her info states she is.

Billie, I don't see or speak to Brenda Lewis very often. I only see her when I attend the republican meetings and related events. But I will give her a call today if I can find her number and confirm her stance.

Dillon, No one here (including myself) believes anyone is owed anything. I simply am pointing to experience and established records. Those are things that I think are important. It is also important to not alienate those you work with. We have had leaders who did a great job without a charming personality but got the job done.
I would like to thank you for the information you have posted. It was educational for me. I was unaware of Ms. Knowlton's gas tax stance and appreciate the update. When we heard the candidates speak. it was only very briefly, and there were many candidates to hear.

I couldn't help but notice the discussion about the state central committe. First of all the people from the 10th district Madison, clark, greene. do not owe anything to anyone who has chosen to run for this seat. It is owed to us to have someone who has the best intrest of our disttrict in mind. I had the priviledge of seeing the candidates speak in Madison country. Brenda Lweis, Ashely knowlton, Cynthia J. Bieghler (CJ).
Brenda Lweis sounded like a robot, with her list of offices. Ashely Knolton sides with Voinovich with Ohio needs a gas tax. Cynthia J. Bieghler spoke about how sick she was of seeing both the U.S. and Ohio Constitions kicked around. which brought the entire room to it's feet. She spoke of how if elected to this seat, her job would be to look for those who wouln't be willing to cross the alsle. She spoke of the " Ronald Reagan" conservatives how those would be the ones she would be looking for.. I was also impressed with the fact that she was featured in the Buckeye firearms news letter that spoke of her endorsement from all 88 counties in Ohio. She has my Vote!
