Tax Day Tea Parties

Following up on Leo's letter on the FairTaxNation home page, do we have any plans to formally or informally take part in the Oklahoma Tea Parties scheduled?

A lot of the people that will make up these gatherings will be there to vent personal frustrations and make visible a problem, as they see it. However, I feel that very few of them will be privy to any viable solution. Why not, while these groups are focused on a problem, take full advantage to plant the seed within which lies an answer.

More specifically, where can I get posters, etc. to take if I can attend at least one of these? Where and to whom should I guide people to seek more educated opinions and facts? If anyone I meet is willing to do something, what should I have them do?

we have scheduled several speakers for the various Tea Parties and will try to spread the FairTax word and recruit new members for our grassroots. In many cases the people attending know that there is a problem but have no solution for that problem. We need to let everyone know that FairTax is the proper response. Rignt now I know of two Tea Parties in Tulsa, One in OKC and one in muskogee. Please let me know if there are others and if they would like to have a FairTax speaker at that event
