    Hi Ed; I never thought of the scientific name for a Badger. FUNNY!!! Your source is probably accurate, as far as acedemia goes, but I Googled it and found what I think is even better. Somehow they Americanized the Latin to read, "Taxidea Taxus" Get it? We could use the badger as a character model for the nemmesis for the Jackalope. It has promise!
