Thanks again for getting this going!! I hope my WA state enthusiasm spreads throughout the state!! There are "9" more co-sponsors awaiting to see the light!!
Hi Marilyn,
Are you the webmaster for Fair Tax Nation? I will be posting the radio appearances of Ken Hoagland and did a tril run to see what problems I have (such as reducing the size of the graphic) I have finished and am all set to post the announcements as they come to me. If you are the webmaster and want to remove the test announcement I put up it would probably be appropriate.
Thanks for your kind help.
Stew Rusby
Thanks Marilyn for removing the test.
I cannot take on any more, sorry. I am getting over a cancer operation that has restricted my activities and I agreed to take on this one project. That is all I can handle now. I spend most of my time trying to get the VA to approve a disability pension and the research totally absorbs most of the time I have.
Thanks for understanding.
Stew
Hi! Glad I was shown this site. It looks like it will be fun and interesting. I have been involved with The FairTax for about 4 years now, spreading the word. I enjoy it. I have already told some friends about FairTax Nation... I hope they join. An Idea... one thing I do to stir the pot is get on to AOL and find a political page that people are posting on and try to relate the story to The FairTax... I tell you ... there are are a lot of people that don't know FT but think they do. John
Morning! I am new to the organization/web site and I will be trying my best to get the word out. My main concern, being new, trying to get to information. If I go to the groups I have search around concerning, who is district, then local. I know we can set up our own page, but hate to say it but can it get organized by state, start witht he 50, then by district/county, each showing the coordinator then the total number of members, somewhat like an organization chart. Then under each state/county publish meetings/radio stations etc in that area. I have been in the computer field for sometime (1968 started keypunching) and retired from federal, if I can help be glad too. My forte is not websites though, but I can read an IBM manual.
Just a thought. Any chance to show the state where the member lives when you highlight the pic in the Nation member site. This would help send a message to ask them to join the sub groups
Marilyn, you need a portrait. The turtle does not do you justice. Do you want me to come to your rescue with a portrait? The turtle doesn't even know what a smile is.
The turtle may have won the race but people would like to see who created this wonderful site! You have a face for a reason....smile with it! This is a great site. I cant believe I missed it for so long. See you soon.
I had an idea of finding supportive businesses and asking them to put a sticker on the window of their store that would say something like:
Proud Supporter of the:
Fair Tax (but with the Fair Tax logo)
Marilyn,
I have been trying to post a graphic (scanned as a jpeg) on the radio event postings. I have tried several formats but cannot seem to get all of it to fit. Do I have to go very small? I have tried to have a larger canvass and smaller image and I keep it below about 5 inches.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Stew
Marilyn, Sorry to hear about your two sons. Where are they in W. KY? Do they have families? Has their power been restored or have they relocated relocated? What ever info you wish to share.
You would normally expect the weather in Oak Forest, IL to be worse than we had. Strange weather!
Morning! How do you join the leadership, such as local coordinator?
I have requested and no response. Is there an individual or an email to send to someone? I know you may not be the one but, help!
I would like to speak to someone about possibly doing promotional items for the fair tax movement, as I am an art director for a company that specializes in such.
I signed up for the weekend event at Wal-Mart for my county (Feb 28) on Facebook. Our local GOP may also have a Fair Tax Rally and was looking for bumper stickers or other things to hand out at the rally...not sure where to get them without purchasing...CafePress is a bit expensive.

Congratulations to you and Fair Tax Nation in reaching the 1000+ so quickly. You have put your heart and soul into it (the Fair Tax as a whole) and it shows. You are greatly appreciated.
Marilyn, one thing that people have pointed out to me is that the actual bill is sometimes not easy to find. Making the fairtax official language more obvious on the homepages might help a little bit.
Marilyn,
I resolved my problem with the graphic for the radio show postings. I rte-scanned the graphic on a piece of colored paper and cropped it with a wide border. The site is now cutting off a little of the border but all the graphic shows.

Now I understand the meaning of the word "indirect" as used here. Thanks! It makes sense. But I suspect that lots of other folks will see the word and will also not know the meaning, since it is not a common terminology not clearly defined somewhere obvious. So it will look like a kind of "code word"- something meant to obfuscate a true meaning. Is that what we really want in a front-page banner for newbies to trip over? -Andy
Hi Marilyn, I have joined the FairTax groups on facebook and myspace. I have post bullitins on each site for over a year. I really tried to get Linder when he was my representive in the 90's to really campaign on this issue in GA. I know he has done alot since then. I have met and work on his campaign and work with his wife on other projects. I have been disabled since 1995 and have only helped with mail-in petitions, and e-mails to State and Federal Reps. I will help as much as I can but I am limited! Just let me know what you need and I will do the best I can! Blessings! Judy
Marilyn, I am fine with the current wording. Andy is in advertising so he would be the best one to talk to...I am in sales and will work with what you guys provide:)

Unfortunately, I won't be making it to CPAC in Feburary. Not sure where you heard that I was but I can't break away right now.
I hope it goes well... and a BIG THANKS to you for all that you are doing to help get the FairTax visibility!
