    Hi Nancy!

    Welcome to FairTax Nation!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.

Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.

    Thank you!

    Hello Nancy~!
I am just south of Columbus. I agree that people are not familiar with the FairTax. They briefly heard it during the Presidential race, and occassionally on talk radio, but a lot of people don't or won't listen to to talk radio.
www.fairtaxstore.com and www.cafepress.com are both great places to find FairTax stuff.

I personally prefer the signs/stickers/shirts that have the "No IRS & FairTax on the same item. Everyone hates the IRS so it's a double whammy, in my opinion, to pair them together to get the message across.
Thank you for the compliment on my ideas. Hopefully we can assemble a Caravan for April 15th!
  • Steve Curtis

Welcome aboard! We've got lots of ways to help get the FairTax passed. Take a look at our State Strategy, http://cmr-golf.com.phtemp.com/PDF/FairTax_State_Strategy.pdf and let me know what you'd like to do.

Barbara Wilson a member on here from the Centerville area has some wonder Fair Tax Fact cards that she gets printed at cost and will provide you with some at cost. If interested contact her. I am still working on getting you some contacts in your area. Angel Knight is from Marion County. There are several in Delaware County I believe but still checking on it. I'd really like for you to get a group started in that area.

Hi Nancy, I have started a Columbus group under "groups" and we have an Ohio group that we would appreciate it if you would join these groups. We have very few members on FairTax Nation from Columbus; so I thought if we could expand the area to include Marion it might help to get something started up there. Billie in Beavercreek

Hi Nancy I am a community coordinator for FairTax in Beavercreek, OH. I am working with Steve Curtis our state director to get Ohio organized. I would love to see local meetings in all towns in Ohio. We have 3 in the Dayton area most every month. Plus we started one in Cincinnati. We are wearing our FairTax gear and going to the Tea Party in Cinti today. We need to be seen. Please invite your friends and family to join FairTax Nation and spread the word. Billie in Beavercreek

  • Josh Gregg

I would be glad to help you. How can I help?
  • Josh Gregg

i would love to. the only problem with me getting to the meeting would be the fact that my car is totalled.I would need a ride. If this is not possible then maybe I can join the meeting by a video call and speeck at the meeting that way. Do your grandson's support the fairtax or are they just interested? If they need somone to talk to before the meeting.. let me know.

    Hi Nancy!

The person you should contact about Ohio is Steve Curtis, I see he is listed as one of your friends. If you join the OH state group, you will find the list of other OH leaders.

    http://fairtaxnation.ning.com/group/ohiofairtax

Lot's of great things going on in Ohio including a monthly conference call. Check the "events" on the main page. They are usually held at the beginning of each month.

    Thanks!

We haven't been asked for one and, given the plans for a caravan, I am not sure how it would work. If one is needed, I'll see what I can do. Just let me know.

Nancy, I live in Findlay, not far from where you are. Just joined the Fair Tax Nation and wanted to connect

You not only didn't do anything wrong.... you're doing everything right!!! You got the FairTax into a prominent spot on the agenda, got a FairTax co-sponsor involved, and are spreading the FairTax word!!!

As far as the caravan is concerned, I was just asking because I hadn't heard much about it lately and was wondering. Keep up the good work.
    Steve

No worries. The monthly Caravan is a wonderful idea.

    Dear Nancy,
I wish I could go but I'm not sure I could survive the walk. I have feet and let problems. Not bad enough for wheel chair but I limit my trips to what I know I can handle. My problems stem form chemo and diabetes. I could go to a library but I just wouldn't want to tackle a fair. Thanks anyway. I'll do anything I can from home and surrounds.

Right place, maybe, how do you search through the info to find pertinant local info? Are there parts to this site for that? I am not much of a geek, I don't surf, but I am a worker, and a make things happen, effective person. I can give speaches off cuff, and debate well. Now how do I contact a geek or complimentary assisting person in my location to make a difference.
  • Dave Sibole

I think a lot of the post office events they call the post office ahead. I know we have already contacted the Cincinnati Post Office. They just told us we couldn't impede traffic of people wanting to enter the Post office. And we had to do it on the sidewalk. One of the forms on here has some guildelines for what to do and what not to do. Pretty much just common sense though. So a call wouldn't hurt anything.
  • Terry R Cushman

    thankyou, what is the site?
