FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.
On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.
Larry, thank you so much for volunteering! I am only sorry that I will not be there to meet you. I will send the table and supplies with others who volunteer. So far, I believe there about 3-4 of you and I will let you know if others come forward. Some who have volunteered already know what we do when we host a table. It's easy! We just hand out info and answer questions. We are positive rather than angry and we believe this is one thing that attracts others to the fairtax. You can lean on each other if you don't know the answer to something. What's really the most fun is making new friends while you're at it. Thank you so much for your efforts on behalf of the FairTax. It is a fun thing to work for!!
Larry, I will bring you a shirt. What size do you want? Please consider a donation to the FairTax for the shirt. I think that we will plan to meet somewhere as a group before the event. How about in the parking lot of the First Citizens Bank down Patton Avenue towards Smokey Park Hwy and almost directly across from Jack of the Wood at 1:30?
Larry, that will be great to have you helping us in Asheville on the 4th. Thank you! I am not going to be in Franklin on the 26th and am planning on coming to the Haywood County event instead. I would be happy to supply you with some of the same items that I brought downtown the other day. Can you pick them up beforehand or do you want me to arrive a litte earlier? Do you have a booth or table set up there? Let me know how I can help. I would be happy to volunteer to work if you need it.
Larry, as I wrote you on June 19th below, I will not be going to Franklin on the 26th and plan to come to Haywood Cty instead. I would love to be doing something constructive like working at a FairTax table if possible. I can bring lots of supplies if there is a table or booth.
Larry, that would be great! I will see you there. Wear your FT shirt! My cell is 777-1068 if you need to call me to figure out where we are. Visit the site to see how park and ride a shuttle or to park near downtown Asheville.
Glad to have you! The festival is open Friday between 12 noon and 6 Pm. I will be done there setting up around 10 am so to be ready by 12. Really you can come anytime you wish and your help will be appreciated!! Actually the booth is on north Lexington, not south, and the booth number is 1024
Are we meeting in Canton at 3:00 pm INSTEAD of the restaurant in Fletcher that you first told me about? And then traveling back to Hendersonville for the meeting in the Kaplan Auditorium? I liked the first plan better but if this is the one, I plan to be there and will bring another avid GOOOH supporter with me.
Larry, I heard some very disturbing news tonight regarding the 9-12 group rally in Washington. It is sponsored in part by Freedom Works, a group that professes to support both the FairTax and the Flat Tax, but has Steve Forbes (of the Flat Tax) sitting on its board. Steve has apparently donated so much money to 9-12 that they have now chosen to publicly support the Flat Tax, and for this event, all of the speakers will be speaking for the Flat Tax. This will drive all FairTaxers away from any connection with the 9-12 groups and they will lose our support at meetings and events. Does GOOOH want to stay with 9-12? It could be a direct contradiction.
Here is the agenda found at www.912dc.com under the agenda tab
