Hi Frank, thanks for joining the Beavercreek meeting group. I am hoping that when we have a meeting, if it is on short notice, we can just send a message to all of the members. That is why I started this group. I talked to Phil and he is going to get on his website and try to get it constructed while he is recoping. Hang in there and thanks for all that you do.

I don't have any sites or supportive material but just hear say, that you are right about the RNC candidate that supports the Fair Tax is the guy from Michigan.

I've recieved alot of responses from my request about who it is. What I'm wondering is ,Has anyone wrote or e-mailed the RNC to ask that this guy be made the Chair? If you haven't, I urge you to do so ASAP!!

Can the event at Signatures Gourmet Coffee be deleted? It is my understanding it has been moved. If it needs to be deleted you can do it or I will if you want. Just let me know. Just trying to keep everything current.

When I made the DD map, Tony had not decided what, if any, role he was going to play. I am still not sure but, now that he is no longer running for BC council, I'll try to find out.

I haven't had any further personal contacts with Austria, although I have sent several fax/email regarding various doings of Congress. Getting together with him or his staff sounds like a good idea. We just have to set up a time/place.

Frank, I am preparing to hold a FT meeting at our local library in two weeks, along with a teaparty. Can you please share with me what your agenda was for your meeting, and what the discussion led to? thanks!

Hi Dustin, Its been a while since our first meeting and I was pretty green then (not much difference now lol). But as I recall, we did an overview of the FairTax and a Q & A along with a discussion of what it was we wanted to accomplish with these meetings. There are a couple of things you can do additionally now such as letting people know how much we have grown in the last few years, what the scorecard count is, and getting people to be involved in writing letters and making calls to political leaders and newspapers.
Good Luck and keep us all posted on how its going.

This week was very active for the FairTax locally. We did visits with both Congressman Austria's staff and A Senator Brown staffer. Both meetings were attended by state director Steve Curtis who did nothing short of a fantastic job countering arguememnts and concerns expressed by their offices. While both meetings started off with a somewhat lackluster attitude by both parties, Steve had them paying attention very rapidly. We'd also like to thank others who showed up in support and made various points along with Steve. They are Fairborn councilman Frank Cervone, Phil Claypool, Bob Whigham, my wife Connie and myself. We'll keep this site posted as to what we hear from them as soon as we get something back.
We also attended the Greene County Republican luncheon held on Monday of this week. We are planning on a presentation to them in June or July. There were already several people there who know about the FairTax, but more who did not. We are scheduled for July but will be ready in June as a backup plan should there speaker for that meeting not make it.
Last but not least, we are having our Fairborn monthly meeting this evening at Roush's. Make it as you can.

Good luck on your presentation on the 20th Frank. I'm in Ohio quite often, and I have noticed that there is a huge demand for Fairtax. I have several friends in Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinatti where I teach other financial planners.

Hi Frank, The Beavercreek Liberty Group is meeting (1/11) tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. at Roush's. I just learned about the meeting today. Thought it was too late to call. Hope you can make it. Billie

Hi Frank & Connie, I went to the Liberty group meeting at Roush's yesterday. Then to the office. So today I am babying my foot. I think I did too much. It was a very good meeting. There were probably 20 or more there. We had the lady with petitions to get different candidates on the ballot, a member that will attend the "how to run a campaign", a member that is attending the "constitution" class at UD. And I think one of the members attended and will participate in GOOOH. Of course, we had the ususal Liberty group information. We had a survey to complete so CJ can determine what the group would like for the coming year. Hope to see you Tuesday at the Beavercreek meeting. Billie

Hi Frank, Do you have your monthly meeting posted? What is happening with Abagail Adam's? There are only 8 events on this calendar. It is an election year and we need to keep active.

CONGRATS on your letter making into the DDNs! How cool is that that BOTH our letters are in there back to back??? I hope it's alright, but I posted on the main discussion page about BOTH our letters with the link. Maybe others will be inspired as well...

I think I already responded as 'will attend', but I'll check. Great job! I just keep thinking if MORE people would 'try' to send to their papers with 'more' regularity, maybe we could really get the folks thinking about it or looking into it. Anyway, if you hadn't said you wanted some help responding to that 'unworkable' comment, I don't know that I would have tried, so...you played a role in that too! See ya at the meeting. Hi Frank, I may have posted something about the Ways & Means, but Kate and some of the others were talking about it.  I am looking for the list of Congressmen and the phone numbers.

Do you think you or any of your members will be available for the "Flash" on the 20th?  Do we need permission to stand on the corner with our signs/banners?

We are Flashing on 7/13 at Whipp and Far Hills.  The one on the 20th is from 5 to 6 so we can go to Roush's for dinner.
