Yes it is true, the FairTax will be charged to the consumer at the point of final sale for personal consumption. The FairTax will end the game of corporate taxes because corporations can't pay taxes -- only people can. The corporate taxes plus the cost they incur to pay their taxes (accountants, lawyers, lobbyists, etc.) are simply passed on to the consumer through higher prices, lower wages, fewer employee benefits, or any combination of these. The FairTax will collect money from sources such as drug dealers, foreign visitors, and others who do not report all of their income on a 1040 form.
