Most Dangerous Threat & God's Welfare System

The greatest hazard to peace, harmony, and prosperity in Germany early last century (other than citizen ignorance) was Adolf Hitler.  In Russia about that same time, it was first Nikolai Lenin, then Joseph Stalin.  In China it was Mao.  In Italy, Mussolini.  Recently in Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.  Recently in America? I want the Fair Tax in the United States of America.  But for that to happen, we must have a viable, reasonably free nation.  If we "went directly for" the Fair Tax, it might…See More

Fair Tax: "Fiscal Cliff" Solution

Could the Fair Tax not be viewed as the solution to the “Fiscal Cliff” people have “sound bitten” so much?  Not just tax rates “threatening” to rise across the board, but the REAL fiscal cliff of spending 40 % more than tax revenue and “Quantitative Easing” fiat money to buy down government debt to tiny “not economically realistic” low rates to finance it.  I am sure what I just said is too complicated for most Americans to understand or care about.  But maybe (some in) the House, if prodded in…See More

Can Capitalism Survive? Is Capital King? Who Controls Capital?

Famous Economist Joseph Schumpeter wrote the book, mid last century entitled Can Capitalism Survive? (see http://www.amazon.com/Can-Capitalism-Survive-Joseph-Schumpeter/dp/1891396765). We live in the era of Capital.  Land is a small contributor to economic output measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and Labor is rapidly declining due to production technology.  The driver is Capital. The question is…See More

Shall Romney & Ryan Help Promote the Fair Tax?

I like Mitt Romney's performance in the debate last night. He said he will create 12 Million new jobs.  http://romneyresponse.tumblr.com/Can we convince him that making the US a tax haven (no "production" taxes on business or labor, either income or payroll) would make that goal EASY? If so, many of us could: 1) Call his campaign headquarters 857-288-3500, see…See More

Forced Mortgage Meltdown

Forced Mortgage MeltdownNote this from Mike Huckabee:Yesterday, the Daily Caller revealed some previously unpublished court information about alandmark case that many consider the fuse that set off the subprime mortgage boom andeventually, the economic meltdown. It was a 1995 discrimination lawsuit against Citibank, onbehalf of a group of African-Americans who claimed they couldn’t get loans because of theirrace. It was part of a coordinated effort at the time by progressive groups. The banks…See More

New Taxes We Could Have

New Taxes We Could HaveWithout the Fair Tax (at present) there is no limit to the new taxes that can be inflicted on citizens.  Or penalties renamed taxes to meet Supreme Court "regulations" on the name used for fines. See this overview of some already in the works: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=-wIfI2whjiMHappy counting or calculating future revenue…See More

DREAM, WHAT DREAM?

DREAM, WHAT DREAM?The Fair Tax is best in an excellent nation (and as a shining light to others around the world). A dream of destruction or punishment of our nation for alleged past wrongs will not help the Fair Tax.  Or the oppressed.  Or global liberty. Who is Barack Obama?  What is his dream?  What will he do between now and 2016 (if he can)? …See More

A Real Budget? Solve Entitlement Ponzi Schemes? Tax Reform?

Paul Ryan is Mitt Romney's VP pick. Why? 1) He ACTUALLY proposed a budget.  Present executive leadership has not. 2) Ryan targeted for solution the > $ 500,000 per household unfunded entitlement Ponzi schemes (Madoff - like) of the US Government (Medicare, Social Security, Obamacare, etc.).  And is tackling them.  Plus other "welfare" programs not yet reformed under Clinton (nor de - reformed under O). 3) Ryan wants tax reform.  Lower rates; less loophole tinkering.  Lower corporate taxes to…See More

Obamacare "Constitutionality" Demands Repeal Of Sixteenth Amendment

Obamacare "Constitutionality" Demands Repeal Of Sixteenth AmendmentThe analysis below of the Supreme Court decision(s) is, as I told Howard Nemerov, Chair of Bastrop County Taxpayer's Association (BCTA) http://bastroptaxpayers.org/ (not his analysis, source not given), is superb and incisive.  Consider especially the last paragraphs, including the proposed now required constitutional amendment, one key sentence of which is:       The Sixteenth…See More

Debt: Another Unfair Tax?

Debt:  Another Unfair Tax?I will ask this: The Fair Tax makes taxes visible.  And lets people represent themselves by buying less when overtaxed.  Shall debt also be disallowed like unfair payroll, income, business, capital gain, death, and gift taxes (as another unfair tax on our children and grandchildren who cannot now vote against theft of their "American Dream"), and because this tax (debt) is "invisible"?Here is why I ask this question: Why Not Freedom! by Kennedy and Kennedy gives this…See More

Think Globally, Act Locally, Benchmark Publicly

Think Globally, Act Locally, Benchmark PubliclyAt the Bastrop County Taxpayer's Association (BCTA, http://bastroptaxpayers.org/) meeting last night, we decided we would develop a scorecard on a few items (especially debt per capita in that case, but also taxation levels and school performance - by some metric not clear yet like what fraction of graduates go on to college).  Take debt.  What are you getting for your debt (that "may" have gone to pay…See More

Hi Adrian, Let's work on it while we gain support for the fair tax. My work will probably entail mostly emailing. I don't know how it works now getting petitions going in Washington state. I think our wonderful state government passed and law making it much more difficult to gather signatures. Some like unpaid volunteers are not acceptable anymore. They some how made it much more expensive for the people to affect the legislative system. Let's look into how we go about doing this. Have you any ideas about how to go about it? Agreed. Thank you, Jamie.

See my emails. What do you think of this generalized approach? It is confrontational, but the American Revolution was not without conflict. When in the course of human events.... they were clear in their stance.
