Republican Defection?

I heard this morning on the Neal Boortz show that the Republican Party is encouraging all Republicans not to associate with the FairTax, apparently because it is so easy to demagogue.

It seems to me that if our elected representatives can't stand the heat, they should not even consider running for re-election.

Tea party

Ok I was at the EC Tea Party today. It was the first time I have ever participated in such an event. It appeared as though I was not the only protest virgin in the crowd. A crowd that was heavily conservative, a demographic that can be real hard to organize. Rossville, GA FairTax Rally

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are holding a FairTax demonstration at the Rossville post office in Rossville, Georgia on this Wednesday, April 15, 2009.

CNBC to Broadcast "Fixing the Tax System" on Tuesday, April 14

I just saw a promo for this show. It said it would be broadcast tomorrow, but I couldn't find it in the programming guide. It looks like it will be on at 8:00 pm (CNBC Reports). Any chance the FairTax will be mentioned??? We should try to find out and/or let them know they should!

I am planning on taking a road trip (from Nebraska) to what may well be the biggest 15Apr Tea Party in the nation in San Antonio. I look on the AFFT site and don't see anything about plans anywhere.

Post fairtax and prices

Maybe it is hard for some to believe business will lower their price. Maybe they never ran a business.

My prices will be adjusted starting January 1st the year the fairtax goes into effect; to reflect my new cost with out production taxes, and lowered compliance cost.
