I heard this morning on the Neal Boortz show that the Republican Party is encouraging all Republicans not to associate with the FairTax, apparently because it is so easy to demagogue.
It seems to me that if our elected representatives can't stand the heat, they should not even consider running for re-election.
Those of you who are lucky enough to have FairTax supporters representing you in Congress need to remind them why they are there.
While you are at it, you…

Ok I was at the EC Tea Party today. It was the first time I have ever participated in such an event. It appeared as though I was not the only protest virgin in the crowd. A crowd that was heavily conservative, a demographic that can be real hard to organize. Today they got over their individualistic tendencies to collectively display their displeasure in the massive surge in government spending over the past six months. That's right this began being fueled by the Bush administration. Now Obama…

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are holding a FairTax demonstration at the Rossville post office in Rossville, Georgia on this Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
If you are in the immediate area and can stop by at all, even if only your lunch break, we'd certainly value your help...especially since, thus far, my two eldest sons (ages 15 and 12) and I are the only participants.
But, guess what? We are going to do it anyway!
I also have a request in to a friend…

I just saw a promo for this show. It said it would be broadcast tomorrow, but I couldn't find it in the programming guide. It looks like it will be on at 8:00 pm (CNBC Reports). Any chance the FairTax will be mentioned??? We should try to find out and/or let them know they should!

Posted by Economics9698 at 10:49 PM | This past Saturday April 11th another Fair Tax rally took place thanks to the dedication of radio personality Neil Boortz and Congressman John Linder. Both these fine decent citizens have donated countless hours for this effort. I would like to thank them and all those who put together these efforts to create a fair tax system for all Americans. Everyone involved is truly a patriot. And now the not so obvious observations from the mischievous mind of a…

As I watch Glen Beck on television a nd radio personality Robert D. Raiford of the John Boy and Billy show struggle with economics and the different messages they get from economic “experts” I will struggled to explain in layman’s terms as best I can. What is really going on with all these economics and why the information is so different from one source to the next? I will do my best to make what is occurring as clear as possible.

One day some guys sat around and thought about the problems with our present taxes, wondering if there were a better way to fund the federal government with out the problems the current tax system has. Years latter, and $22 million spent researching, and developing a tax system that would work, came the FairTax. The only agenda that the FairTax has, is to get rid America of the problems generated from our present system of taxing.
We FairTax supporters have been persuaded though…

I am planning on taking a road trip (from Nebraska) to what may well be the biggest 15Apr Tea Party in the nation in San Antonio. I look on the AFFT site and don't see anything about plans anywhere.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this one and the one in GA the same day should be the biggest FairTax rallies ever. Glen Beck is filming his Fox TV show there and he's already picked The FairTax as one of his top-5 priorities for this 912Project he's started (over 400,000 members in the…

Maybe it is hard for some to believe business will lower their price. Maybe they never ran a business.
My prices will be adjusted starting January 1st the year the fairtax goes into effect; to reflect my new cost with out production taxes, and lowered compliance cost. I will also aggressively place ads in order to capture my competitors clients. Switching to the fairtax is an opportunity to increase my market share by offering lower priced items then my competitors that are slower to…

We the People of the United States of America are deeply troubled with the current direction of our great nation. At the core of our grievances is “taxation without representation” similar to that which our original American Patriots stood against at our nation’s founding.
Our elected officials have, over many decades, moved away from serving “Common Interests” of the people and of the nation to serving the “Special Interests” of Big Money Campaign Donors.
Killing off…
