I believe it was fate that brought Charlie and I together at that rally in Gwinnett. I was working security as a district director. Charlie and his family had arrived early to get a good front row spot. He had come to see Gov. Mike Huckabee, but I talked to him about FairTax. I gave him a card and told him to think about helping the grassroots effort and, as they say, the rest is history. I wanted to ride down with Gene and Phil, but I had some business that came up. I told him that Marian and I will come down for another meeting. I hope you will help him and help FairTax. Together we'll WILL get this done.

Thank you for coming to our 1st meeting. I felt very good about the quality of people who represented FairTax supporters. It was so great to make the 10 pm Top Story on Fox 31 and we are already going to work before we even think about our next monthly meeting. I thank you again for showing your support. We love to see you and as many you want to bring to our next meeting. Soon as weather warms and we get more active we hope to see you to as many activities as we plan them.
