Sorry to hear you are having a problem with the "share function". I assume you are clicking on the "share" button at the bottom of your blog. Has that function changed?

Ning just updated their sites to make it simpler to share with facebook, twitter, etc.

Thanks,
Marilyn

Thanks Laura

I met Chuck & Mike Huckabee in NH when Mike H was campaigning, I have been tring to email them both to see if they would speak at the rally, Sean Fagan said if I can get Chuck to come on the 15th he would pay my way there other wise I will not be able to make it. winter, work & the economy have been very unkind to my Family this year.

But I have hope :O}
Can you Carry a sign on my behalf :O}

Yes, we must replace much of congress with regular "statesman". I plan on going to Asheville tomorrow to meet with members...I think I saw you will be there at 7pm? Right?

Thanks Laura. Yes, I've been silently taking them in, some reading more thoroughly than others. I did see some activity with new candidates to run on the GOP ticket. I currently do not put much stock in the local GOP's endorsement of the Fairtax, among other far-from-reality dream bills for they are as beholden to their friends as the Democrats at the higher offices, and I believe there are hidden agendas at the local levels, GOP as well as Democrats. Holding on to the status quo. Some might actually share the sentiment, but I believe some are dead set against it as they want to get to D.C. to get their goodies just like the last guy. The FairTax puts a stop to the primary reasons they raise millions for a congressional campaign and even more for senate seats. hehe.. :) I'm just a ray of sunshine this morning. Sorry. I just see an uphill battle that must be forced into play by the will of the people.. This will be the ONLY way, I believe.

That said, if enough at one time infiltrate and win house seats, that would be a great opportunity for at least media push. Because of other reasons, poor Carl was so unelectable. The illegal alien business and anti-drug push made him look like a racist. Heath didn't even have to work hard against those.

So at local district forums, pushing the topic in front of potential candidates with force of a large perceived voter base, is a very good thing. Open expression of the will of the people as perceived by potential candidates is pretty important I think.

I'd be interested in reasons why those chosen were no-shows.. From their own mouths, on the record.

.. Sorry, too much French Roast this morning. Nice to hear from you again.

its going pretty good Im almost done with my first semester at college. but the the fair tax group didn't work so well. I had to start a club to get access to the campus, but I just couldn't get enough people involved or interested. especially since running it in joint with the democrat and republican clubs got shot down, on both sides, and i had to find students specifically interested in the fairtax. it was a sad wakeup call but I have not given up ill let it sit until I can get some funds raised and then ill see what a little campaigning can do for the club and maybe before i graduate I can bring a rally to NCSU. (crossing my fingers)

Hi Laura- I think your brother, Jim, is my neighbor. I've been on your email list since Bel Chere and believe a consumption tax is the first step toward a real answer to America's broken system. I'll make a monthly meeting as soon as a soccer practice is cancelled on that day, and I'll help where I can. Now all I do is advertise the idea.

Hi Laura, I saw your comments on Jim's page about GOOOH. I think it will work; but in the Dayton, OH area it still is at a stand still. How are you making out? Billie in Beavercreek

yes thank you very much. I am currently in the process of getting a students for fair taxation club organized on campus to get more man power behind my rally and gain access to the campus for fairtax programs. I may in the future consult your wisdom again. Thank you for your support.

I like it a lot.

I'm thinking about going to one of his mock candidate selection forums on the 9th or getting him to do one for us in Memphis.

He and I talked on the phone for a bit. He said that 80% of the people who were registered on his site supported FairTax.
