I'll have to plea better late than never John. I usually breeze through FTN so quickly I fail to catch the friend requests.
I trust you are getting the info needed to be an effective proponent of the FairTax.
I see you are in the infamous Congressional Dist 8. Lucky you, you get to replace a Representative this November.

If you have not yet done so I suggest going to the Florida State FairTax web site, www.FLFairTax.org. Our meetings and events area posted on the calendar there and you have access to the state leaders too.

The official location of the fairgrounds is given as Elkton, FL. To the best of my understanding it is not far from Saint Augustine.

I agree with you - "let's get this thing moving!". And moving we are!

There is a state-wide TEA party scheduled for 2/28/10 at the St. Johns county fairgrounds. And, of course, there is our Storm the Hill event scheduled for 4/15/10 in DC. If you're not able to attend either of these events, then check back often on how you might be able to participate without your physical presence.

Just click on the "groups" tab on the menu bar at the top of the page. After that, you may have to do a little browsing until you find the Florida group - when you do, just click on it and you should be taken straight there. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out the rest.
