You not only didn't do anything wrong.... you're doing everything right!!! You got the FairTax into a prominent spot on the agenda, got a FairTax co-sponsor involved, and are spreading the FairTax word!!!

Lot's of great things going on in Ohio including a monthly conference call. Check the "events" on the main page. They are usually held at the beginning of each month.
i would love to. the only problem with me getting to the meeting would be the fact that my car is totalled.I would need a ride. If this is not possible then maybe I can join the meeting by a video call and speeck at the meeting that way. Do your grandson's support the fairtax or are they just interested? If they need somone to talk to before the meeting.. let me know.

Hi Nancy I am a community coordinator for FairTax in Beavercreek, OH. I am working with Steve Curtis our state director to get Ohio organized. I would love to see local meetings in all towns in Ohio. We have 3 in the Dayton area most every month. Plus we started one in Cincinnati. We are wearing our FairTax gear and going to the Tea Party in Cinti today. We need to be seen. I am still working on getting you some contacts in your area. Angel Knight is from Marion County. There are several in Delaware County I believe but still checking on it. I'd really like for you to get a group started in that area.

I personally prefer the signs/stickers/shirts that have the "No IRS & FairTax on the same item. Everyone hates the IRS so it's a double whammy, in my opinion, to pair them together to get the message across.

I am just south of Columbus. I agree that people are not familiar with the FairTax. They briefly heard it during the Presidential race, and occassionally on talk radio, but a lot of people don't or won't listen to to talk radio.

Glad to see you joined the network. Please also join the Ohio group and keep an eye on the events and participate when there is something going on in your area. Also please invite all of your friends and family to join as well.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
