Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Speaking with a FairTax supporter earlier today, I had to agree with a comment he made. It is not easy to see who the FairTax candidates are around the country. Not that I'm aware of -- one central place to see their names, states, etc. He said he'd be willing to donate to FairTax candidates, but he didn't know who all they were.

Tonight I did look here on Fair Tax Nation and saw one group on the matter that was started in 2009, but really did not have much activity or candidates listed. And you had to be a member of the group to post. That's one more step to slow someone down from doing so.

My suggestion is there should be an easily accessible area here to see both the current co-sponsors and the candidates running for office that support the FairTax. And that it is updated for each election.

I think this is a pretty good idea, although we might want to think about doing it on a state by state basis. If you're interested, I've done a map showing where all the FairTax candidates are running, across the country.
Hi Steve,

I'd be interested in such a map...an in this way I can tract these people if they run again, if they don't make it this time.

Do you update your map? How often?

I believe I saw that same gorup that started in 2009...he is a member here...I worte to him and never heard anything back...his name was Joshua.

The idea is a good one, so that all 7700 members of this Fair Tax site might just want to send donations to Fair Tax candidates...WE NEED TO GET THESE MEMBER ELECTED.... I would urge people vet the candidate to be as sure as possible that he/she is truly a Fair Tax supporter.

This would surely seem to be a function of Fair Tax National in Houston...!!!!
Yes, I'd be interested in your map. My original thought being having one easily accessible place to be able to retrieve this information.
If you made a map, don't keep it to yourself. We even have a domain for it, fairtaxpac.org.

We don’t have a map per se, but we do have a list of candidates who are either running on the FairTax or are cosponsors in congress.

For anyone looking, we do have a group for that: http://www.fairtaxnation.com/group/candidatesthatsupportthefairtax

There is also a discussion with a list of candidates: http://www.fairtaxnation.com/group/candidatesthatsupportthefairtax/...
