Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Hello Everyone,

 

I thought I'd start here and see what you think.  Since '07 I started as a community coordinator for our city and have purchased items via AFFT out of Houston in fairly small quantities.  FairTax is definately getting ready to shift into HIGH gear as tonight I just mailed FairTax pocket cards in 100+ pkgs to 7 cities in our state and 3 or 4 a few days ago.

 

The pocketcards I ordered were the quantity of 10,000 and I thought "MAN" if there were someone else who would like to add their quantitites to ours we may get an even better deal.

 

The problem is not having a place to share an item(s) to be placed the quantity, & when the order is to be placed.

 

THOUGHT....What about a FairTax Materials Ordering Together Group here on FTN?

We could post ALL the different items FairTax Supporters have gotten what made & at what price...when someone is going to place an order we could create a post and see if anyone else would like to be a part of that order.

 

Considering this would be a first this would be an effort under construction...but I for one think the SOONER the better as time is a wasting! 

 

I think this group should share ALL options and let each individual, CC, DD, SD, FairTax Supporter decide how they want to participate and with whom.  As we share vendors we can find out their specific details...like "getting the LARGE QTY discount" but they'll ship to separate addresses!

 

We could even have it so SDs work together with their DDs and CCs & we place orders as a state...but depending on the vendor that might mean the SD has to ship to CCs and DDs, but they could have those who place the order send postage and the USPS will now come and pick up the package at your door.

 

Looking forward to hearing your ideas  SOON....because I'm hoping to be placing a few more items in less than 2mos.!

I like this idea.  Many people, including district directors and community coordinators are probably in need of more supplies at this time.
Jamie;  I thought we HAD a committee for purchasing, and a price for 100,000 push cards via BallyHoo Banners.  I submitted a proposal in .pdf that needed more work, but Rudy Treml in FL had/has a word doc that is primo.  No word on what the last activity was.  They're probably looking for donors to fund the effort by placing an order.  I'll put a fire under them when I get time!  Meanwhile, get yer dough together!

I applaud your interest is working together with FairTax leaders from other states to coordinate purchasing and appreciate that you have volunteered to serve on a committee to address this issue.  The activities Committee is currently being formed and we are looking for other FairTaxers that have interest and experience that would help in this effort to join this committee.  So far we have some key individuals that have been the "purchasing agents" for their states for quite some time that have joined the committee.  If anyone has a desire to become involved in this effort please contact me at roger.buchholtz@mifairtax.org or 269 345-0950.

Would you guys agree that we should start a group here on FairTaxNation to begin sharing who, what, where and when items are being ordered so others can join if they'd like?  I know I want to place an order for NO MORE IRS balloons & possibly some more pocketcards...although I did redo them as most of the current pocketcards are not very effective with "just" the "FairTax" logo for states who are just finding out about this bill.

Roger...thanks for creating a committee....any ideas when it will be up and running? 1mo 2mos etc?  I think a new group here on FTN would be an EXCELLENT start for the present time and then the committee can be an addition once they are formed.

The purpose of the committee is to gather the printing needs of all states in an orderly manner, determine which is of common interest/use, establish specifications then seek the supplier that can service our account for the best value for our money.  The committee now has 5 members, including you.  It is still open for anyone that has something to contribute.  I expect that the committee will be operating within a week.  I expect that the committee will ask us all for input at various stages of its efforts using FTN and other means.  Anyone that has any needs or ideas will have every opportunity to input.

 

 

I think FAIRTAX Nation would be an EXCELLENT VENUE to have the ability to participate in materials needed.

ARE all on the committee members here on FairTaxNation? 

 

FTN will certainly be involved.  I do not have a list of FTN members but I think all or most are FTN members.

Depending on how this evolves I think it would be an excellent way for NEW CCs and DDs to get involved and NETWORKING....COMMUNICATING and not feeling ALONE!
