Dave,

from Ohio's 6th Congressional district I just wanted to let you know I have sent an e mail to my representative, the text of which follows:
(Addressed to Congressman Charlie Wilson)
"Charlie,
my understanding is that Steve King, Congressman from Iowa, has requested and received approval for a special order discussion of HR25 tomorrow evening, March 17, at about 6:00PM. As you may recall you and I have communicated about this in the past. Charlie, I ask and strongly urge you to be in attendance if at all possible.

Thanks,

Fred Sirianni

Steve. I was at the Medina meeting Sunday. Thank you for your time. I found Lisa's group through the Patriotic Resistance/Ohio Patriots.

Here is an update from Rep. King's press secretary.

From Rep. King's press secretary:

Right now we anticipate the Special Order taking place around 6 p.m. tomorrow night. Obviously, that could change, but that is the tentative time we are being told. The Special Order will be aired on CSPAN. Congressman King is working to have several other members join him on the floor tomorrow night. House leadership has asked Congressman King to mention President Obama’s plans for tax increases, so the Congressman and other members will be contrasting these planned tax hikes with the FairTax and all it can do to stimulate our economy. I will send around a brief statement from the Congressman on the Special Order later today that you can post online if you would like. Let me know if you have any questions.

Representative Steve King of Iowa has requested and received a Special Order to discuss the Fair Tax on the House floor. Please send your Ohio representative a kind request asking him/her to attend that session.

Also please come back here and post on the discussion forum "I contacted my representative" so we can get an idea of how many actually did this.

Dennis and Barb Strickler was nice seeing them today. They got a great plan for the 18th district and will be a great asset and bring with them years of experience in campaigning and pushing The Fair Tax in their area. A great Team!

Also a little word of encouragement for Scott Bankston. Just remember in numbers we are strong and with the great people of the Fair Tax you will always have the support and you're never alone. Nice meeting you today.

Medina Meeting Report
The Medina meeting when very well, with Lisa doing a great job of organizing her neighborhood. We had about 60 people there, all of which were Conservatives, but only about 25% knew much about the FairTax. I talked for about 30 minutes, and then we spent from 9:30 till 12:30 doing Q and A. The feedback I got was very positive, and no one seemed "turned off" by the FairTax or what we are trying to do here in Ohio. I then had about 45 minutes with Jim Kenny, Scott Bankston, and Dennis and Barb Strickler talking about getting things going in their areas. All in all, I considered it a very positive day. We'll have to wait and see how many jump onto FairTax Nation and/or start working for the FairTax.
