Cape Fear Fair Tax is having their MARCH meeting on Tuesday, March 2nd, 6:30 pm, at the Front Street Brewery (3rd Floor). We had to change venues because the crowds were getting too big for our old meeting location! We will be discussing upcoming events and fundraising efforts. Hope to see you there!

Just some information for our "senior" Fair Tax supporters. Since 60,000 seniors have cancelled their AARP memberships, another option for seniors is ASA - American Senior Association. They support the Fair Tax!! There is no minimum age requirement. www.americanseniors.org.

Hi everyone! I just want to let everyone know that Cape Fear Fair Tax will be sponsoring a BBQ this July 4th at Hugh McRae Park (shelter #6) in Wilmington. The BBQ is from 11am - 3pm, and it is FREE (donations accepted of course). We will have hotdogs and softdrinks, and you can bring your own food to grill or a side dish to share. There will also be a blues band, Kid's Zone, games, and much much more!! I really hope everyone can make some time to stop by, it promises to be a great time. Also, if you are interested in helping out, please message me!

Thanks!
Karen

Hi everyone! Enjoyed the April 15th rally, and would love to theme the July 4th one as FOR the Fairtax as opposed to just being against the increased spending (although that is primary as well). We need to offer our solutions, make sure the alternative options are presented. I ended up signing up to coordinate Hampstead when I signed up on the TeaPartyDay.com site, and am in Cape Fear Fair Tax, and so will help as much as I am able.

Hello everyone. The Patriot Riders of America in Wilmington have formed a GRFR chapter to support FairTax. We're working to have a table at Freedom Bike Fest in Fayetteville July 2-5. Anyone interested in working with the chapter of bikers with outreach and fund raising? Our program's goal is to bring funds into your area, not get them from you, so please let me know if you have some time and energy for a FairTax booth the first weekend in July.

Jesse - this is something we at Cape Fear Fair Tax would like to work on as well. We already have some materials, and after looking at our bank account, we will be ordering some more soon. Please contact me at kvaliquett@gmail.com, and we can discuss some potential opportunities and organize a strategy for this venture. I will also make sure you are on our email list so you are notified of our next meeting. Thanks!

New to this site but not new to the fairtax. Interested in setting up a table at different events like county fares, festivals, or what ever in the Pender/Onslow/New Hanover county areas. Summer Tourism will be starting soon , a table at high traffic area around the beach like market places , boardwalks ,etc whatever it takes to get noticed. Don't have the materials yet but would like to meet up with others to develop them and join in. I've never done this before so advice is much welcomed by veterans . Thanks
