Teh Shred the Tax Code Party is set for tomorrow, August 21, at the NC Fair Grounds. Come on out to meet several candidates for congress and watch as we send 67,000 pages of the US Tax Code through a wood chipper.

The Western Wake Republican Club is holding their annual picnic on Saturday, June 27th at Apex community Park, 11:30 -3. I cannot make it to this event, and I am looking for someone who can, and bring along FairTax materials to distribute while mingling with the crowd. This is not a formal presentation, but more of an opportunity to keep the FairTax fresh on the mind. More details are posted in Events

Great News !!!!!
Senator Burr is now a co-sponsor of the fairtax !

I called his office today to thank him for doing so. I would encourage everyone else to call and do the same. Politicians also need to hear that they have done well.

I plan to be at the 6:30 Raleigh Tea Party passing out FairTax brochures to anyone who will take them. Probably be hanging out near the Triangle Conservatives tent for much of it. If you aren't going to SC for the big Fair Tax Rally, I encourage you to come to one of the local events.

Tomorrow I will be driving to SC for the Fair Tax Rally. I have 3 seats left for anyone who would like to come along.

If you cannot make it to SC, I encourage you to attend one of the many Tea Parties going in through out the state.

I can't make it down to SC on tax day, but I am thinking of going to town for the tea party. I found a couple of other groups who might be of like mind (Triangle Area Campaign For Liberty Meetup and Triangle Conservatives Unite! Meetup).
