Great News! After many weeks of negotiations, we finally have a
contract with the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Ronald Regan
Washington National Airport!! This is a really nice hotel; check it
out for yourself at:
http://crystalcity.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp;jsessionid=SZFFWA34NKVFSCTEAGDCFFIKMQAYOIV0.
To book a room go to:
https://resweb.passkey.com/go/fairtax The NTU
event this past June was held here and I personally was very
impressed with the facilities. The hotel is located just over a
mile from the airport and is not far away from the Crystal City
metro stop. (There is a free shuttle service between the hotel, the
airport and the metro stop). Here are the rates: For 4/14 &
4/15 -- single/double occupancy - $129.00/night triple occupancy -
$154.00/night quadruple occupancy - $179.00/night For 4/16 &
4/17 -- single/double occupancy - $95.00/night triple occupancy -
$120.00/night quadruple occupancy - $145.00/night The rates do not
include taxes (currently 10.25%). There is a three night minimum
requirement (we’re working on alternate arrangements for those who
wish to reserve for less than three nights) and a non-refundable
deposit equal to one night's stay ($142.22) when you make your
reservation - so you will want to make sure you'll be able to
attend the event before you book your room. You will have a
difficult time finding better rates at any other top quality hotel
in the DC area (the average star rating for this hotel is 3.5 and
the best rate we could find using the various travel sites was
$179.00). The catch is that we have to book 100 rooms per night for
three nights in order to get this rate. Which three nights and why
three nights? We believe that many of you will arrive on Wednesday,
April 14th to attend the Storm the Hill event on the 15th,
scheduled to be an all day event. Since the 15th will be an all day
event, we assume you may want to spend a second night at the hotel.
Lastly, we will be holding our first convention/conference on
Friday the 16th of April. We are thinking of making this an all day
event as well, so we hope that folks will stay that night too. Even
if you don't attend the conference, you could spend the day touring
DC and check out on Saturday morning. More details on the
convention/conference will be forthcoming in the near future. So if
you're ready to make your reservation now, follow the link below:
