When you go to the America Speaking Out Site, read the votes carefully. There are several votes on the site in support of the Fair Tax and there are several look a likes. Be sure to try different tags to find the one with nearly 500,000 votes AND is not one of the three closest look a likes.

What he is talking about is a new website called America Speaking Out. It is a new website setup by the congressional GOP to gauge voters support of certain ideas. You need to create an account on the site, and then vote for the initiatives that you want passed. We want the FairTax to have high ratings, so please do this.

I did. The problem is that there are two tax plans within reach that are flat tax plans or 'fair tax' lite. I think some have been clicking flat tax, etc. because of the way they're written. The first tax plan that pops up after entering the site is THE next closest competitor to Fair Tax (w/4.84k votes Fair Tax: 4.66k) is flat tax that says, "Balanced Budget, Eliminate Dept of Education, eliminate estate tax, cpa cap gain tax at 15%, Eliminate the IRS, institute a flat tax rate, reduce govt bureaucracy and spending, no more earmarks." If you click on 'taxes' tab, the Fair Tax plan with the most votes will show up at 4th from top right behind the #1 flat tax plan. I think some have been added to 'muddy the water.' I've ran across several who always want to refer to Fair tax as flat tax, for ex.
