Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

I've got two FairTax presentations coming up.

Who: Concerned Citizens for the Constitution
Where: American Legion Hall in Soddy Daisy, TN
When: Saturday March 27th at 9:30am

and

Who: The NARFE (National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees)
Where: Arezzo’s Restaurant in Winchester, TN
When: Tuesday April 6th at 11:30am

If possible, I need to borrow the grease board and perhaps our FairTax Banner and any other materials that we normally use when doing a presentation.   If I could get with Larry and borrow those items for both events, that would be great.

Premo - How about I bring them with me to the Tea Party meeting on March 18th? - Larry

Also - We need to set up the tent and banner at the April 15th Event - and we need some kind of hand out materials. Any ideas?
That sounds good. I'll be sure to get them from you at the meeting. As for materials, we need to come up with a good, solid, informational piece that has our website and email contact info on it, offering to give a presentation to their church or civic group, etc. As I said before, we need to be doing more presentations and not expecting people to come to us, as we should be going out and carrying the message to them this year.

Let me do some checking online to see if there is something we can adapt and have printed either online or locally in time for the April 15th event. I may be going to Washington for the FairTax Rally there, but anyone who isn't going to Washington could perhaps work the local Tea Party event here.
Speaking of Washington DC - have you heard about www.onlinetaxrevolt.com ? I've signed up under Boortz's FairTax Brigade, and my avitar is marching towards Washington DC right now, and it's on pace to be in Washington DC on April 15th. Every FairTax supporter should check it out. www.onlinetaxrevolt.com
Yes, I've heard about it, but hadn't checked it out yet. Thanks for the reminder.
Do you want to take any hats, t-shirts and bumper stickers? I still have quite a bit from the Georgia 9th Dist. inventory on hand and a "suggested donation" list.

I already owe Mike about $70 from Chatt. gun show and it'll certainly be a lot easier to add a few more dollars to the tally than loading all this stuff up and hauling it back over Fort Mtn. There are 3 different handouts which of course are free but let me know whether you're interested in having any of the other stuff on hand too. We would need to keep a relatively close accounting for the 9th Dist. books so it may be more trouble than it's worth to you but it's here if you want it.
I'm not sure if the T-shirts and hats are a good idea in this case, but I definitely will need some handouts, etc.
Here is a handout that you can use. It can be printed one to an 8.5x11 sheet or you can put four to a sheet (postcard size).

It shows the effect of taxes from the spending side for both the average
"self employed" individual or a "worker/employee". It will really wake people on how bad the income tax system really is!

Thanks a lot. That's a handy little piece of info!
It is the answer to the question we often get asked
"How does it effect ME?" or
"What is in it for ME?"

I have recruited a lot of people with it!
I look forward to hearing you speak on the 27th. I will be driving over from Madisonville. Attached is an informational card that I designed and purchased. It is the size of a business card and I pass them out when I am on business trips. It's a good conversation starter.

Thanks a lot!
Here's what I'm having a local printer print for us. This will be done postcard size (4.25 x 5.5) and will be printed on both sides. I'm having 500 made, so that means we'll have 2000 of these cards to give out. Since nothing on these cards should change, they'll be good forever. Here's a copy of the "proof". I pick them up Friday and I'll be giving them out this Saturday at Soddy Daisy.
