Welcome Randy,
We are getting more FairTaxers in the Columbus area now. It would be good if as many as possible could "link up" and start coordinating activities/events. I encourage you to contact the other Columbus area folks and see what's already going on, and what else we might want to get moving.

Welcome, Randy. Have you read the Fair Tax Book? It does a very good job of explaining how we transfer from the current tax system to the Fair Tax. Fair Tax: The Truth is a follow up book. I have yet to read the second one myself due to limited funds, like everyone else. I plan to buy a used one from Amazon, like I did with the first one.
I wish to extend the invitation to join us in the Columbus Fair Tax Caravan on May 9. See details in the events section of this site or Teresa Geron's page. It's a simple thing we can do to raise awareness. Please feel free to contact me.
Randy, I think that if you go to Fairtax.org, you will find a lot of good answers to the questions you are being asked. I found the site to be very helpful with looking at specific questions with the answers.
Also the Columbus group has more events that are happening in the Columbus area, closer to you. I belong to several groups so I don't miss something that might be going on in a particular area of interest to me. Please invite friends and family to join us ... numbers count.
Take Care

Randy, Thanks for your offer to help. Since you are in the Columbus area you might want to consider contacting Teresa J. Geron and Nancy L. Gatchel. They are trying to promote the FairTax movement in/around your area. Check the events section to see what is going on in Ohio.
Thank you!

Welcome Randy glad you joined us here at Fair Tax Nation. Please join the Ohio Group and I believe there is a Columbus Group. Please help us here in Ohio to promote the Fair Tax. Also please check the Events Tab regularly to stay informed of events happening here in Ohio. And get involved as much as you can. I know there are several things going on Wed., a caravan around the city as well as a TEA Party and perhaps a Post Office event. Again welcome.
FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.
On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.
