Something that is very puzzling to me...we all know that the Fair Tax will be extremely beneficial to our destroyed economy. So why is it so hard for the lawmakers in Washington to see that?!? I just don't get it. Is it because all the little earmarks, favors, and kickbacks will be lost? I don't know...maybe. It's just fustrating. Why have a tax code that's over 60,000 pages long if you put it in normal book form? That's just crazy!!
Maybe that's the problem...the Fair Tax makes TOO…

Greetings everyone,
I can not stress enough that we need to use the word 'Keep' in regards to the 23% at the register rather than 'Replace' when it comes to explaining how the FairTax works. People still think it will add more costs at the registers.
Please note that the FairTax will NEVER take-off until ALL registers today are required to show the 23% hidden tax on ALL receipts [from food to cars]. How do we get this done?
WE THE PEOPLE will not feel any pain…

Our President and the Congress has just agreed to spend 1.3 Trillion dollars to salvage the economy. The results will be just the office. But I don't think our Congress or the President realy care if it kills the economy. This is all about their social agenda to bring the United States to a socialist society. Every working man woman and child better be preparted to see significant changes to the tax code. Be prepared to see home morgagage deductions go down the drain, along with deductions for…

A friend sent me alink to a CNN Money article about The Fair Tax. There is a section at the end of the article which addresses embedded taxes. I would like some feedback on this.
Here is the section:
Part of the problem is the way Boortz and Linder are using the idea of embedded taxes. In an eight-year-old study paid for by AFFT, Harvard economist Dale Jorgenson noted that because the taxes paid by everyone in the chain of production are embedded in the cost of goods,…

One of the major problems with idealists is that they either get everything or they nothing. For example, an idealist might refuse to support a candidate or special interest group unless there is a component in their activity that supports cutting a Government budget by 90%. When he does not get everything that he wants, he ignores all political support of potentially useful ideas. The problem with this approach is that much needed idealists become impotent because their idealism never leads to…

This is the "Post Office Push" that worked great for us in 2008, our first year in Wis Dist-3. We began by setting up a table at ONE post office in Eau Claire, Wis., population 60,000. We had some information on hand that I printed off the FairTax.org web site and copies of both FairTax books to show people. We taped a few sheets on the front of our table that had the FairTax.org logo. The post master did not want us on post office property so we set up on the sidewalk and they did not say…

How many zeros in a billion?
This is actually true and not funny.
The next time you hear a politician use the
word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the 'politicians' spending
YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of it's releases.
A.
A billion seconds ago it was…

Opposition to the FairTax is bi-partisan in Washington. While most co-sponsors are Republican, those supporting the FairTax represent a minority of Republican Members. Eight years of majority rule by Republicans did not see the FairTax enacted. The majority party in Congress, Democrats, have been even less moved by the potential of the FairTax.
It's human, not ideological. The FairTax takes away from Congress power over the tax code. The ability to grant favors to supplicants-- paid…

I hope many of the FairTax Nation supporters had a chance to see the Glenn Beck Friday Fox News Show. It was very interesting to know, that unemployment could reach 25 to even 40% and that your paycheck could be as much as 80-95% of income taxation. Slowly I feel the pains of Socialism moving in. Below I want to share what I wrote back to Glenn Beck on his website:

Watching Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace & keyed into a discussion about race.
The conversation moved to hyper-segregation of schools with little being done to remedy the situation.
Consider this. The paths to upward mobility have diminished significantly in the last several decades as globalization has taken hold. Why? We chased a many low-skill jobs away from our lands.
Our nation has taken the path to upward mobility away from the least fortunate among…

TOTALLY BAN firearms.
It's not just a few firearms but
ALL OF THEM! There is

Seattle on Monday. Denver on Tuesday. Mesa AZ on Wednesday. Overland Park, Kansas today. What a week, huh? We got the anti-stimulus, anti-entitlement protest ball rolling — and now the movement, spurred further by CNBC host Rick Santelli’s call for a “Chicago Tea Party,” is really taking…

Wow, I have to tell you, this is really quite a brilliant plan that Obama has!
So, first the government forces Fannie and Freddie to lend money to people who couldn't afford it.
Then, they virtually go bankrupt because well, the people couldn't afford to pay their loans. Imagine that? Whodathunkit?
So We bail out Fannie and Freddie.
Then... gosh, we get all these foreclosures and the housing market gets whacked.
So whats the plan? Obama makes…
