The Hijacking of Primary Elections
I used to say that if you wait until the General Election in November, you are too late. The real contest is in the Primary, where the political parties, which are similar to private clubs, elect their candidates. Now I am going to assert that if you wait until the Primary Election, you may be too late already.
The Primary Election is where the party voters select their candidates by secret ballot. That’s democracy, right? Well, it would…

In 2009, Democrats raised the bar for fiscal incompetence - never before in the history of the world has so much money been spent with so little to show for it.
It is shameful enough that they stole our grandchildren’s money to go on their fiscal binge; but it is downright embarrassing to see how ineptly they squandered over $2.6 trillion of future American…

We can continue to try to convince politicians and party officials to support the FairTax. Or we can use the Obama formula to move the national parties to our cause. All the time and effort we spend just to get political candidates to use our language, we could change the Republican Party.
So, what to do? About 200,000 precinct committeemen slots nationwide in the Republican Party are vacant. Hmmm. Maybe we should fill those spots with FairTax people. For a few hours a month you…

GOOOH
Yup. You folks have been sending me emails about this movement for weeks now. If you go to the Goooh website you'll see that this acronym stands for "Get Out Of Our House!" There's a quote on the website from Samuel Adams in 1776:
"If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men…

If you are 50 or over and always thought you would join the AARP, you should know that you have another option available that might represent your viewpoints better. The American Seniors Association wants to see the FairTax happen! See where they stand on key issues below from their website
www.americanseniors.org. Click on the About Us tab and then click to read the four pillars of ASA. One of those is the FairTax.

Exciting and fun times are upon us.
We celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus, on December 25 followed by a New Year a week later.
A time for families to gather from far and wide and be together for a festive time. Enjoy the season, enjoy the fellowship and friendship.
The year 2010 is when we begin the hard work and heavy lifting. I am completely encouraged and energized by the prominence the FairTax has attained so far. Looking ahead

The FairTax is a consumption tax in the form of a national retail sales tax on new goods and services. It is designed to replace "federal income taxes including, personal, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment, and corporate taxes." The FairTax would also abolish the IRS and repeal the 16th Amendment.
The elimination of the 16th Amendment, the IRS, and all those taxes sounds like a great idea that all free market economists and…

I send this info for your review and perusal! I believe it is the best way to accomplish many of our goals including tax reform! Politicians are not going to change anything unless we force them and we can only force them if we "blow out" about 20% of them in 2010. That may not, at first reading, sound like a lot, but it would be 87 Reps. and certainly enough to change voting patterns in both the House and Senate until 2012. Please join with others and let's get it done! Bill

FAIR TAX is the first step in the answer to the Tea Party people and all the other other independent-minded, liberty seeking folks across the country that ask "what are we supposed to do?". The best name so far to convey this message (from John Harvel) is "Operation Freedom Storm". Combining this with a subtitle like "Fair Tax--The First Step in Taking Back Our Country" would work to clarify the message. We must start getting out the message that The Fair Tax movement is not just a new taxing…

We need creative FairTaxers to help us come up with a name for our FairTax event in Washington DC on April 14, 15, & 16.
The week of April 14 to April 19 is going to be a big week for citizen action in DC and FairTax is going to be in the lead. We need a name to use for our event. Something that someone who knows nothing about the FairTax may see the name and say -- gee I would like to attend that event!
This is a very tentative idea of what we would like to do in DC…

Tim Cox of GOOOH sends this message:
I’ll be on Fox and Friends on Sunday morning at 7:50 am EST. I intend to plug the FairTax Group as a brilliant example of non-partisan patriots who have had enough of BOTH parties and the politicians who no longer represent WE the people. But, you never know how these interviews go or if you can say half the things you intend to say.
Did you hear the WGN Interview (it is available on GOOOH.com) ? I used the FairTax as my example question –…

It’s time for a second tax revolt
by KEN HOAGLAND
HOUSTON CHRONICLE
Dec. 12, 2009,
More than 200 years ago a new idea about the rights of individuals and the rights of government began as a tax protest in Boston Harbor.
“No taxation without representation” was the rallying cry that led to the new concept that all government power and authority should derive from the consent of those governed. Is a second American tax revolt now needed to restore…
