Horse Shoe, NC – Combining his love of freedom on a motorcycle and support for economic freedom through the FairTax bill in congress, Mike McLean launched his website to raise funds and awareness for grass roots FairTax groups throughout the nation. WWW.Grassrootsfreedomride.com offers all FairTax groups fund raising capabilities through organized rides. As an emerging companion organization to the hundreds of grass roots FairTax groups throughout the country, Mike hopes to bring more visibility and funds to every group he reaches. Grass roots FairTax groups throughout the country face the same goals and challenges – how to increase visibility of the FairTax movement while raising sufficient funds to support these activities, as well as financial support for the National FairTax organization. All FairTax groups can opt into WWW.grassrootsfreedomride.com for their local benefit, even if the rides are happening in another part of the country. Riding his 1997 Harley-Davidson Heritage Springer painted in the FairTax theme, Mike’s first stop on his campaign is a ride from Horse Shoe to Cornelius, NC February 7, 2009. The initial fund raising goal is $2500 and 20 bikers to initially fund this organization. Subsequent rides will fund all other FairTax groups that choose to register with the Grass Roots Freedom Ride fund raising organization. In 2010, the FairTax bike will journey through all 48 lower states to raise funds and awareness over a four month time period. For more information about fund raising, all FairTax groups registered with FairTax.org can contact email@example.com. www.grassrootsfreedomride.com(GFR) strives to support all FairTax grass roots efforts nationwide. GFR is affiliated with NCFairTax.org, a 501c(4) organization with funds managed and distributed by a consortium of various FairTax state and district directors.
