Open Letter to Long Beach Rep and Californa Senators - No to Cap and Trade...

Dear Representative Rohrabacher and Senators Feinstein and Boxer,

I received a notification by Mark Levin that Cap and Trade is front-and-center in congress right now.

I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the so-called cap and trade.

Cap and trade will be a huge burden to our economy in a time when our economy is very fragile and, according to many experts, it will NOT have a significant impact on naturally occuring climate change cycles.

Passing cap and trade also gives more power to the federal government at a time when it is already too powerful. I would urge setting up a series of community events where interested citizens can debate priorities, learn more about the issues, and have more of a voice in our government vs. rely on an all-powerful legislative body that seems addicted to power and spending regardless of benefit to the citizens.

Again, I strongly oppose the so-called cap and trade. As my representatives, I want you to take this into account.
