I won't be in Washington for the 9-12 Rally. But I hope to make it in the first of Oct for the AFP event if I can raise the funds. 2010 will be critical. The issue will be if we can hold off things until then.
Great letter Charlie. Please refresh my memory on who the "Jim" is. I will probably feel stupid when you tell me, but my mind is mush right now. I'm helping Mother write thank-you notes for all the flowers, food received when Dad died last week. Looking forward to meeting you in person on Saturday.

Charlie, Read your letter to Jim you posted as a comment. Glad to see your area moving forward on the Fair Tax. I am on the Freedom Works email list. It would be nice to see them move fully to support the FairTax and the elimination of the IRS.
I am most concerned these days with the confusion coming about by the current administration floating the VAT tax. Their effort is to have a VAT tax (form of sales tax) added on to the present income tax system. I expected that effort to eventually be floated once bureaucrats realized how much revenue can be generated via a sales tax. But their effort is to create more of a burden on the citizens. FairTax org needs to get aggressive in opposing the VAT tax in its present form. Regards, Bill
Thanks I see that Glen is in our group as local coordinator for PC. I will get hold of him as well. You can feed me what you have and Donaldsonville is just a hop for me so I would not mind coming up there. I am about 19 miles to GA and about 30 miles to AL
Your wife told me she acquired the name Prochaska.... you even look like a Prohaska! That's my mother's maiden name and the Prohaskas in mid-Michigan have a reunion every year for the descendants of the 14 siblings who came to the US in the early 1900s from Czechoslovakia.
It's quite obvious the Czechs are not only incredibly intelligent, but attractive people!
Sorry I didn't reply before to your note to me but I have been very busy and I wanted to give special attention to your note. In addition to your mentioning that you were from AR ( I am a retired transplant to AR), you mentioned your son was in Northwest area in Bentonville. We have an excellent group of conservative Republicans in that area supporting the FT and I hope to get several of them here to the FTN site and in the AR group. Also, would welcome your daughter in Texarkana; is she on the AR or TX side of the border. Obviously, her ready for a wedding plans she is busy and thus you and mom must be busy as well!
You mentioned "We are working in South Georgia and North Florida with a great team of volunteers who knows people in the area." I see you are in GA. Did you mean working on the FT or with something else? You may have noted my brief bio on my membership page. I am the National Political Director with Conservative Solutions. Sheridan Folger, one of the Directors and several members of Conservative Solutions have joined FTN. Any way, we have a FL Political Director who works with candidates and conservatives in FL. If you need another contact let me know. Are you on facebook? My links are on my membership page.
I am not on one of the easy roads in Arkansas. I live in the N. Central part of AR in the Ozark Mountains in one of the best places to retire. Twin Lakes / Mountain Home area, Baxter Co:. Two Federal lakes, the White River, Buffalo River, hunting, fishing, golf, and more. 45 minutes SE of Branson and North of Mtn View (Arkansas Folks Center) and an hour E. of Eureka Springs, 3 hrs NNE of Little Rock. Excellent medical facilities (lots of old retirees) and lots of peace and quite. Needless to say - we are a long way from I40. It takes over 4 hrs to the Memphis Airport.
I'm OU grad thus a Sooner fan; disappointed with their BCS Bowl performance. Question, how do you and your wife survive together when the Hawgs meet the Dawgs? Let me know what you do for a living and political involvement.
God Bless,
Dr. Bill
