OOPS!!! I thought I'd done that. It is now ;-)

The sign is located in, no doubt- Leesburg, Fla. I've not seen a Billie St., but you share my mother's name.

    Hi Bill,

Wadsworth is in Summit County. I live literally right across the street from Medina, actually. I doubt I'll be able to make it to any meeting, and I don't have a whole lotta influence since I'm only 16. However, I'm considering writing a letter to the editor of the Beacon Journal. We'll see.
  • Lee Johnson

I truly do. She has been a huge influence on my life. She has 3 Masters Degree's and almost finished up her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Unfortunately she is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. I look forward to helping however I can.

I just learned you reside in Beavercreek, OH. I grew up in Cincinnati (but moved to Fla. in 1983). One of my favorite school guidance counselors was involved in the Beavercreek school system- David Elliott.
  • Dave Sibole

Billie I didn't get the names of those at the meeting. I don't know who all Steve sent it to but I will just forward you the email. it has the attachment with it.

It was way too cold for me to go out last night in my recovery stage. I deceided it was better to stay home and warm for now. Perhaps a lillet later.
    Thanks for asking.
  • Jim Tomasik

Yes, I was paying attention when all that was transpiring. Thanks for your efforts on getting that done! Ohio FairTax is better for it. I should talk to you on the phone to explain why I made the comment... I'll try to contact you this week.

    Thanks for your help.

    Billie,

Thanks for the welcome. We are emailing friends, relative and whomever we meet to join. If we want this to work we need to get more people involved.

    Hi Billie,

I just found a meeting place in Cincinnati. Dave Sibole is planniing and leading the meetings. Please check with him.
  • Dave Sibole

Thanks Billie for the updated list in the Ohio Group. That is extremely helpful.

Billie, on all of your phone calls are you asking people to join Fair Tax Nation? It would be awesome if they did.

    Dave

    It is now ;-)

Thanks Billie for the note. We tell people about this every place we go!!! We need to ban together to get this moving.
  • Phyllis Reed

Sorry not "Ban" but join together.
  • Dave Sibole

Billie, since I made that post about having someone at all the Post Offices in Mike Turner's district I have learned there are 306 of them. It will not be realistic to think we can have someone at all of them. So I think we need to get together and see what we think will be most realistic and most effective. Also get the most media attention. Maybe I will talk to Barb before your Wednesday meeting and see if you can come up with a plan there.

We have not met him as yet but my husband is communicating with him quite a bit.

Hello... We have no actions going on here. I wrote my congressman. He does not support the Fairtax. Hopefully someday he will.
  • Scott Bankston

    Hello...

You know, I heard of the Fairtax long ago back in 2002. I'm from Atlanta. I listened to Neal Boortz and I actually voted for Congressman Linder. Since 2003 my life was changing so that I just didn't keep up with the Fairtax. And last year, someone mentioned it to me. I remembered it. I saw the Fairtax all over YouTube and the centraI point to Gov. Huckabee campaign. I was just stunned at how much steam the Fairtax has picked up. What does a community coordinator or district director do?
  • norwegianwood

Billie, it's me Pati Way..we met at the McCain rally at the Nutter Center where I came to help hand out Fair Tax information.

Been a little difficult to keep up with lately. Currently 'acting' single parent with my husband in Iraq...just 91 more days, though...and we can BOTH be available to assist here in Beavercreek!

yes it was, went home and signed up last night.

Thanks Billie. My wife Michelle and I are moving back to Cincinnati in March so I've put the second Monday in April into my diary. Looking forward to it!
  • Colin Ashley

Thanks for the pointers! I'm actually familiar with the broad layout of the site - it's the same as HuckPACVolunteer. Currently we're here in England and we'll be moving to Hyde Park, East Cincinnati.
  • Dave Sibole

I just sent this message to Frank. If I don't hear back from him can we go ahead and delete it?

Can the event at Signatures Gourmet Coffee be deleted? It is my understanding it has been moved. If it needs to be deleted you can do it or I will if you want. Just let me know. Just trying to keep everything current.

How do I join the Ohio group?
Also, I checked with the library in Blue Ash but they were closed today for some reason. I will stop by hopefully tomorrow to see if they have a good meeting room.
  • Andy Stamas

    I joined! Thanks.
  • Steve Curtis

    Billie,
I am not seeing Gary Clark on the OHFairTax group page. Are you refering to another list?
    Steve
  • Andy Stamas

    Absolutely!
  • Steve Curtis

I see that, unfortunately, I don't know how to remove one of them. You might send a note to Marilyn to see of she has edit/removal permissions.
  • Judy

Watkinsville is just south of the UGA, Athens, GA. Great Music and sports area. Thanks for becoming my friend. I just opened the site. Blessings!
  • Jim Tomasik

Billie, Please Tell Dave Sibole about this. Dave has access to Gary's phone number and Dave is an admin from OH as well. Gary has signed up twice on FairTax Nation with two different email address. Gary needs to delete one of his memberships. My only option is to ban one membership and that sometimes causes unitended hard feelings.

    Thanks,

    Jim
  • Jim Tomasik

No one should do resign on with a different email address because it throws the membership count off.

I tell everyone the same thing. I will always tell you the truth the best I understand it but I will always lie about two things -- my age and weight. So I am 16 years old and 95 pounds.

    Have a great day!

Hi, Billie. OK, I responded and now I'm your friend. I saw you at the meeting at Beef O'Bradys last Tuesday. I hope Roushes has a quieter room for us. That place was so noisy that I had difficulty hearing some of the people, especially those with a quiet voice.

    Cheers,

    Tom
  • Bob Whigham

    Should be there.
  • Philip A. Reed

Thanks Billie! Not sure if my schedule will allow attending meetings.
    (my name has only 1-L)

Billie the 16th District is made up of Wayne County, Stark County, and the Southern Tip of Medina. This is Great! to hear we have a supporter in the area. Do you have his contact info?Jim
  • Marilyn Rickert

    Hi Billie!

You are an administrator for the OH group which means you can post and update the leadership lists on the site directly. No need to post them on the comments section. If you have any questions, Please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks,
    Marilyn
  • Josh Gregg

    how do I contact them?
  • Steve Curtis

Sounds good to me. Let's find out "who's in", and then we'll know what we have to work with.
  • Marilyn Rickert

    Hi Billie!

I signed up for the C2C newsletter today. I am leaving for DC before dawn on Tuesday. Will be back early Monday morning. Please keep an eye on things for me!

    Thanks,
    Marilyn
  • Steve Curtis

    Billie,
I couldn't find any songs on the site. Did you and, if so, where were they?
A good theme song always livens up a party!!
  • Steve Curtis

I'll not be able to attend the Cin meeting for a couple of more weeks. Right now, I have other commitments on Monday nights.
  • David L. Kendall

Thanks for the welcome, Billie. As you may know, I've been a supporter of the Fair Tax for a while now. I am the author of the economists letter of a few years back.
  • Carol Adams McLean

Thanks for sending bikers our way Billie. We're hoping to get everyone who drives anything to hop on board to make a visible presence for FairTax.
  • Justin Fenn

Hi, I would really like to attend these meetings but I have a strange work schedule that runs Tuesday through Friday from Noon to 9pm & I work on Saturday from Noon to 8pm. If you ever have any events on a Sunday or Monday I would definitely be interested, thanks!
  • Ross Pleiman

Thanks Billie, I'm overwhelmed by my responses on Fair Tax. I think this is a wonderful cause. I've been thinking about how perfect of a time it is for this (Fair Tax) reform to take place. I also have been explaining the concept to my friends at the University of Dayton and from what I can tell it is a party-less cause...can you imagine something everyone agrees upon (Republicans & Democrats agreeing)
  • Deborah in Ohio

I do believe we're starting to get Democratic and Independent support for the FairTax Tea Parties! This isn't just a Republican Party any more! Gov. Huckabee is starting a 2-week tour of cities soon to see what we can do to help families who are hurting from the economic downturn. I think he was implying on Fox and Friends this morning that if Pres. Obama doesn't veto this Porkulus Budget, he'll be "out of here" and will be a one-termer.
  • Teresa J. Geron

    Hello Billie~
I have several friends interested in the FairTax movement, largely due to my own persistence & lecturing! I'd be MORE than eager to participate in any capacity. I hope we march on the Statehouse on April 15th!
I'm attending the Glenn Beck "We Surround Them" get together here in Columbus next Friday and am going to wear my FairTax t-shirt w/ my No IRS button.
Totally off the subject: my Mom's name is Billie!
I hope to get an opportunity to meet you & thank you for the warm welcome.
    ~Teresa
    P.S.
Do not leave out the Libertarian Party!!!
