Candidates Media Night "Meet CJ Bieghler"

I am Cynthia (CJ) Bieghler and I am running for Republican State Central Committee in District 10 (Clark, Greene, and Madison counties). I am a strong and committed believer in the principles of liberty that have made America strong and vibrant, yet are under attack by the unprincipled moderate and liberal establishment. I support strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of Ohio, although I feel the state Constitution has been modified far too often for narrow special interests rather than the interests of the people of Ohio. My belief in the 10th Amendment and states' rights has pushed my strong support of the Ohio Sovereignty Amendment and I am a believer in stopping Federal mandates from being shoved down the people of Ohio's throats. I am a member of the National Rifle Association and a staunch defender of the 2nd Amendment and will work to stop any infringements of it. I am a proud member of the Dayton Tea Party and I believe in its four pillars: Respect for the Constitution, smaller government, fiscal responsibility, and support for free markets. I was born in Greene County at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, grew up in a conservative military family, and married an Air Force member. From this experience, I have developed a deep understanding and appreciation for the men and women who serve to protect our nation and I fervently supports a strong national defense. As a member of the Republican State Central Committee, I will work to recruit candidates who support reducing the size of government to Constitutional limits, both in Washington and Columbus. I will ensure that the voices of small business owners, farmers, families, and senior citizens are heard to end the support of establishment candidates who have shown their willingness to raise our taxes, increase costly regulations on businesses, increase spending, and burden schools with massive unfunded mandates.
