FairTaxKC organization is sponsoring a Freedom Ride in conjunction with the National FairTax Grass Roots Freedom Ride organized by Mike McLean from North Carolina on I-435 encircling Kansas City. Refer to the attached link for more information regarding Mike and his goal of visiting 48 states and traveling 17,000 miles promoting the FairTax!
This is a local grass roots organization of volunteers who donate their time and money to educate people about the FairTax HR-25 a bill before congress. The FairTax is a solution to our economic decline and the best method to restore freedom to the majority of people who want a major change in our tax system.
The Freedom Ride will consist of thousands of bikers, classic car owners, and those with ordinary vehicles to meet for refreshments and live band entertainment.
At 7:15pm all participants will head to I-435 with their banners, flags, etc to caravan around Kansas City, picking up more vehicles as we go like a magnet in a pile of iron filings. After we make a complete loop and return to the original staging area, we continue the celebration and reinforce the grassroots dedication to the FairTax movement.
The starting gate will be Kobi’s Bar and Grill in Bonner Springs Kansas, a biker’s favorite. Vickie, the owner of Kobi’s, will have the Tony Andrews Blues Band playing at 6 pm.
