The Abingdon tea party has been combined with the Bristol tea party. It will still be April 15th, only it will be in Bristol and we meet at 11:30 am. The meeting site is the Farmers Market, located on State Street in downtown Bristol. If you are coming to Bristol on I-81, take exit 3 to Commonwealth Avenue. You will go through 4 stoplights on Commonwealth, the fourth stoplight being at the Euclid avenue intersection.Stay on Commonwealth until the 5th stoplight and turn left onto State Street. The meeting place is on the right and only about 400 yards after you turn onto State Street. There are parking spots located at several spots in the area. The plan is to meet at the Farmers Market at 11:30 am. Around noon, we will march a short distance(about 2 or 3 blocks) to Commonwealth park. It has a stage and is just across the street from the Bristol fire department.
