Event Description

American "Tea" Parties are being held in over 1,100 cities in 49 states. TEA stands for "Taxed Enough Already!". Sean Hannity will be attending a Tea Party in Florida and Newt Gingrich will be attending one in New York.

FairTaxers, in cooperation with hundreds of other marchers for the elimination of the IRS and related issues, will gather on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. FairTaxers are URGED to bring teeshirts, signs and BANNERS, to demonstrate toward the TV news services, AND hand out FairTax literature to marchers and other citizens. Many marchers know only cursory information about FairTax, and we can educate them. As a benefit, FairTax will receive more pre-eminent media attention by virtue of their teeshirts, signs and BANNERS.

This is a great opportunity those in Olympia and our local city governments to hear how we feel about TAXES.
Show up! Bring Fair Tax signs, information, (tea bags if you are so inclined), and your enthusiasm! If you have time, make a few extra signs to hand out to others. Sign ideas: "Taxed Enough Already", "No More Taxes", and of course "Fair Tax signs. Feel free to be creative and make signs that reflect how you feel!

Bring your friends, family, coworkers, etc! Forward this e-mail to everyone you know in the area and invite them. The more people we have, the bigger this movement will grow.

Contact local media! If you know people at local radio & TV stations or the Tri-City Herald, tell them about the rally. Ask them to help us get the information out. If you know news reporters who can show up and cover the rally, invite them!

Bring some garbage bags to the event. We don't want to leave a mess behind - when we leave, our city park should be cleaner than when we arrived.
