Time to change the rules. If Republicans want to harness the power of the Tea Party – 912 – and Town Hall patriots across this land, you can do it in three simple steps…
• Shut down congress by walking out and refusing to return. Can Democrats even call something to a floor vote without a single republican in the chamber? Would they even dare try it?
• Return home and spend time listening to angry patriots in as many town hall meetings as you can schedule. You will earn your pay at a town hall, whereas attending another congressional vote is worse than a waste of time. It’s counter-productive. Go home and listen, don’t talk!
• Grow the backbone to walk away from all of your past mistakes, and line up behind the ONLY people who can put you back in power, the American patriots who stand for a constitutional government and against the current steamroller to socialism.
You have only one other option… to keep doing what you’re doing, which amounts to being a big part of the problem, instead of a part of the solution.

I don't have any R's in my district or Senate (WA State). Otherwise I'd be all over this. My question is "With the D's in charge, do they really care if the R's even show up?". The D's would spin this to their advantage somehow would be my guess. The D's claimed that the R's had no ideas on healthcare ignoring this: http://www.gop.gov/solutions/healthcare and I'll bet a lot of morons bought it.....

Could happen, but if they are drawing huge crowds at townhalls and giving ideas there, maybe, just maybe the media would look into it. And perhaps the Dems couldn't do anything procedurally.

FairTax Nation is neither a pro-Republican nor an anti-Democrat site, it is a pro-FairTax site. Front Page discussions/topics should, at a minimum, have a direct reference to the FairTax and what action might be taken in order to secure its passage.
Discussions such as this one are best posted to a personal blog.
