Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

ALERT...Time to try out your soliciting a solicitor skills...

JUST NOW I got a call from "American Solutions" soliciting money for them. I respectfully declined because most the "sponsor money" we will be giving is to the FairTax Legislation cause. I shared that because Newt is NOT ACTIVELY educating and promoting this legislation I will not send any $ to his cause.

He stated many things that our country needs and MOST of them can & will be solved with the passage of this legislation. The Solicitor said "Oh, the Flat Tax". Ahhhhh my 2 bullets to that:
Under our current system do drug dealers pay their taxes to which he answered "NO", and they won't under a flat tax either, but under the FairTax which is a National Retail Sales tax they would!

I also shared the quote by Plato...

He was audited so that was GREAT to share that wouldn't happen again under the FairTax!!

I then shared the www.fairtaxnation.com website.

SOOOOO please prepare yourselves for this call and be ready to educate the solicitor. I am one who LOVES to answer calls from solicitors because it is my opportunity to share the FairTax with them!!

Jamie,

Thanks for sharing this with us. I was a big fan of Newt's last year - and then I learned he is not a FairTax supporter. I don't think I will ever understand how Newt, given his understanding of history and sheer brain power, fails to understand the FairTax and the forces behind it. It is a major disappointment for me to say the least.

By the way, did you get my message about where to find the projected growth rates for FTN?
