Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Anybody have a list of Business, Groups or Org's that indorse the fairtax.

I have been asked more than a few times about what companies and Organizations that indorse the Fairtax. I have asked Fairtax.org. But they seem to not have one. I think this would be a good tool for all. I will be having a fairtax table up at a couple festivals in the next few months. I think a list should be available.

I think fairtax.org had or has a place for businesses to sign up saying they endorse the Fair Tax. But like many of the other things they have poor or no records. I think it is a great idea, why not contact Jim Tomasik and see he can get someone to volunteer to make and keep such a record and post it on the network here.

The first thing to do is to put together a list of organizations that potentially have a dog in the hunt (individual companies are a separate thing). There are thousands of national associations. The ones with offiecs in DC would seem to be the most likely ones to take a position on taxes.

Swaying national organizations would be an important front in the battle for the FairTax. Maybe the way to start would be to identify the 100 most important trade associations/unions that would potentially have an interest in tax legislation. Then we could find FairTax supporters who are members and work from the inside.

I'll be happy to create and maintain a database. I just need help in identifying the top 100. With this information, maybe we can post a page similar to the Congressional Scorecard on fairtax.org.

Here are some possibilities. If anyone knows where these associations stand or has an opinion about whether they are in the top 100, please post. And please add to the list.

AARP
National Restaurant Assocation
National Association of Realtors
National Association of Home Builders
National Federation of Independent Businesses
National Association of Manufacturers
AICPA
American Bar Association
National Governor's Association
We agree with what you are saying here. This is why we began a Business group. We want to atract members who are business owners and begin a list ourselves.

you should incorporate your talbes with our membership drives... Also look at the Discussion I just started this morning about the 50 state strategy to see if you can help with it as well.
The American Seniors Association, the conservative answer to AARP supports the FeirTax
