As my first "contribution", I'll just say that I was very disappointed with the news media coverage--TV, Chicago Tribune and Naperville Sun, of the so-called FairTax Rally in Washington.  I was not there, so I can only comment on what I saw from my "armchair".   The Tea Party folks got all the publicity because, I suppose, they were the loudest and had the most radical slogans which the reporters and writers latched onto.  FairTax was drowned out.  In one newsreel I did catch a glimpse of a FairTax sign, but otherwise--nothing.
