Getting to know Herman Cain

For those of you who have never heard of him before, Herman Cain is a radio talk show host out of Atlanta, GA. He has his own show during the week from 7 to 10pm on WSB news talk radio AM750 and is Neal Boortz's favorite fill-in for him during his absence. Like Neal, Mr. Cain is a consummate supporter of the FairTax. If fact, did you that Mr. Cain "...is former Chairman and President of the Tax Leadership Council of Americans for Fair Taxation" and that he gave testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee in 2002? These facts my explain why a link to FairTax.org occupies and enjoys the top position on his list of "Intelligent Thinkers Allies" on his web page (http://www.hermancain.com/default.asp).

Now, I had heard Herman Cain fill in for Boortz many times in the past (and it has always been a pleasure to listen to him), but yesterday while he filled in for Boortz I heard him say that his "Intelligent Thinkers Movement" had over 140,000 followers (and as of today, I'm one of them). I urge you to take time to visit his site.

I would like to suggest that we would do very well to somehow convince Mr. Cain that a link to FairTaxNation on his page would benefit all of us. I'll contact him via email to see if he agrees.

I would also like to add that Mr. Cain was the lead-off speaker at the FairTax rally held here in Jacksonville last April. To say he was "quite good" is an understatement. He was very inspirational and motivating. I think we should make every effort to acquire him as a speaker at our Storm the Hill 2 event.
