Joe the Plumber Will Help Man FairTax Table at CPAC
Joe Wurzelbacher, the more than plumber, has agreed to help man the FairTax table at CPAC and draw attention to our cause. Joe loves the FairTax and has been speaking about it in interviews throughout the nation, at many TEA parties and at campaign stops for candidates he is helping.

I'll be there, too and CPAC has asked me to bring and sign the new book, "The FairTax Solution" at 2:30 on February 18th.
Hmmm... Michael Reagan, Joe the Plumber, Jessica Wexler, a new book, Operation FairTax, the petition to the Ways and Means Committee, a soon to be released FairTax infomercial..we're picking up steam. 2010...the year of the FairTax.

He doesn't fly--just drives--and couldn't make it back in time from a Tea Party speech in Texas. Joe would like to be a part of the April 15th events because he loves the FairTax but word was he was not on the schedule.

Gosh, Joe wasn't on the schedule pretty much because we didn't know how to go about inviting him - and we're not putting anyone on the schedule that we don't have a firm commitment from (sounds like a "catch 22" doesn't it?).
If Joe is still available and would still like to attend STH2, I'll be happy to move this forward. Mind you, I don't have a final say, but I would personally welcome Joe's participation and I think we might even be able to provide a hotel room for him as well, depending on his needs.
I must ask that you consider my response as very conditional and subject to a various number of other considerations.

Does he take the train or would that be slower than by car? Well...lets contact him! We still have just 2 days shy of a month, noting that the 15th will be jam packed with Tea & Coffe Parties. Looking forward to any updates on Joe being in DC on the 15th!

Joe is a friend of mine. If event planners say he's wanted, I'll ask. He'll likely say "yes" if scheduled early enough in the day. He wants to get to Florida that evening for a Tea party rally. He told me he might even fly down. I won't ask though unless it's all decided because last I heard Joe was not on the line-up.
Personally, I think his question to Mr. Obama started a lot of things. In the time since, he has been speaking at 3-5 Tea Parties a month and has appeared a lot on BigGovernment.com, TownHall.com and Hannity. He has always been a supporter of the FairTax and always speaks from the heart but this is not my call..

I listened to you interview Friday with Jim Vicevich of WTIC-AM1080 in Hartford, CT. You did a great job. I was surprised he was willing to listen given that he is an ardent supporter of the flat income tax. I briefly debated the Fair Tax vs Flat Income tax with him at a tea party rally last year. Thanks for your help!
