Libertarian Convention - Las Vegas

Just wanted to say a few words and express thanks to Fair Tax Nation, Marilyn Rickert, Jim Tomisak, Gene Simmons and all the Las Vegas Fair Taxers that helped on the event.  The event was a great success by any standards.  We did a number of interviews and have also scheduled interviews for Fair Tax Time Blog Talk Radio.  As a result of attending we will be doing a show with Libertarian Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson.  We will also be doing interviews with several Libertarian Congressional Candidates and other interviews with young adult groups that attended the convention.

Coverage on C-Span has already aired and it was great to hear Fair Tax mentioned by Governor Johnson.  We had very good questions and feedback from numerous attendees in Las Vegas, and I suspect that some very good networking relationships have been established.  Attendance at this event could prove to be extremely productive if Governor Johnson receives 1 million or more votes in primary thereby making him eligible to participate in debates. That being the case, it would be reasonable to expect Fair Tax would receive national media exposure.

The cost of the booth in Las Vegas was money well spent.  Fair Tax had the most prominent position of all exhibitors.  To get to the main meeting hall you had to pass the Fair Tax Booth, it was the very best spot in the house.  We will be hearing from attendees on Fair Tax Time in the weeks ahead about their support of Fair Tax.  We are building our numbers from groups that already have large numbers, and  we could see an explosion of our supporter base.  Great job by everyone!  The warm reception in Las Vegas was very much appreciated.
