Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/11/12/obama-hold-jobs-summit-d...

here is a perfect quote to introduce the FairTax at the summit.

"We all know that there are limits to what government can and should do, even during such difficult times. But we have an obligation to consider every additional, responsible step that we can take to encourage and accelerate job creation in this country," Obama said.

Does anyone know any of the attendees? Anyone have any suggestions about how to get the FairTax on the table at this event? I will ask John Linder if he has any idea - Ken Hoagland too.

Thanks

Some one needs to take the "FairTax Bill, HR25", the "FairTax Bill, Plain English Version", and the "FairTax Book by Boortz and Linder", drop all three on the table and say,

"Mr. President, here is the best jobs creator in the history of civilization."

Then either sit down or turn and walk out.
While I certainly agree with the sentiment - I'd have to say that we would do well to just turn and walk out. I'm afraid that the President and his like minded cronies really don't give a hoot about doing what is right for America and her people. Nay, they are far too much concerned with centralizing their power over the people of this great nation. Why on earth would they then support legislation that does exactly the opposite? If they truly cared about jobs, then the stimulus bill would have provided them. Instead, it has proven to be a huge waste of taxpayer money - with even more an greater folly to follow.
We all know what criminals they are but we still have to keep trying. Eventually the economic situation will be so bad that there will be no choice but to pass the FairTax. After the FairTax passes and the economy grows, those who opposed it will have some very tough questions to answer.

Steve
The message must get to the people.
The people must then take the message to their elected representatives.

This job summit will more than likely get a lot of media coverage....we need to make sure that locally as well as nationally guests who commentate and cover it are approached!!

On a personal opinion though....the government can 'talk' about creating jobs all they want.
Until the talk matches their actions then they'll continue to centralize power and take it away from us.
