Press Release - Grass Roots Freedom Ride Forms National Chapter to promote FairTax

As Bikers Nationwide prepare for Spring and the Riding Season, GRFR is seeking to encourage promotion of FairTax with supplies and wide spread organization for all interested bikers.

Horse Shoe, NC – While gearing up for a year of biking events, Mike McLean, director of Grass Roots Freedom Ride, is seeking to increase the participation of bikers for FairTax by forming a nationwide chapter to "Make Some Noise" throughout the country for FairTax.

While planning seven rides and events for 2009, it occurred to Mike that motorcycles with FairTax flags buzzing through key locations across the nation simultaneously would make much bigger statement and bring attention to the FairTax bill in congress. Although a national biker poker run through a city's post offices on April 15 may not be feasible, Mike does plan to use up coming events as test programs for bikers everywhere. Details will be posted at www.grassrootsfreedomride.com for each event as they're finalized. As each event comes together, chapter members will be notified of ideas that work to emulate on a national basis in their own home town.

While polishing the chrome on his bike for his inaugural ride February 7th, Mike explained "We have the supplies and an incredible response from bikers across the nation. Now we just need to get supplies out and organize with bikers to effectively and efficiently promote the FairTax. We want to devise a program that FairTax supporters in cars can utilize too."
