Senate Budget Committee on C-Span looking for all solutions to U.S. debt

The Chairman is Sen Kent Conrad of ND
Attending Sen Sessions of Al, Sen Gregg of NH
On Committee Sen Lieberman of CT, Sen Voinivich of OH, Sen Warner of VA, Rep Cooper of TN and Rep Wolf of Va.
I don't believe any of the members are Fair Tax Supporters, but it appears they are inviting all ideas to the table. I continually look at the Fair Tax as being a resolution to the problems with our economy and budget. The sooner the better. This is a very good chance to get the Fair Tax on the table. I can't imagine what the out come could be with other resolutions.

It looks like this is an opportunity for those with the most Fair Tax experise to present the Fair Tax to the Senate Budget Committee members. The Committee will also be forming a Commission and using Think Tanks and other inputs to work at decreasing the National debt. The Committee said our current tax system is broke and the United States needs to reform it. This sounds like an opportunity to me. Perhaps some of you saw the Committee hearing on C-Span today, it was almost three hour long.
Constituents in their districts need to start filling their mailbox and answer machines.

We all need to contact them as well......they may not be our representatives but the budget committee affects us all!!
Thanks Tony for your comment. I hope other members of Fair Tax Nation and supporters of the Fair Tax were able to see the Senate Budget Committee discussion. Perhaps there is a way to access it.

It also appeared they issued an invite for suggestions, then thought it may be to over whelming. The Committee was even using, as an example, one of the Health Care bills as a very small partial solution. I find it a little strange, they didn't invite Congressmen like Rep. Linder or Rep. Paul who are Fisical Conservatives.

The Senate Budget Committee is worth keeping a close eye on and if possible getting a seat at the table. Possibly we could contribute to the think tanks, but absolutely will not get a vote. They even went as far as suggesting to pull Presidents Bush 41 and Clinton since they broke campaign promises on Tax reform.

We could also see when and if the next Senate Budget Committee discussion will be televised on C-Span for more of us to view.
To view the Senate Budget Hearing on addressing the National Debt
