Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Taking a look at the list of co-sponsors we can't deny we need Democrats to join the ranks, I believe I only found 1. Knowing that don't we need to reach out to the democrats to right the reps and senators? Which might mean having to design our rallies with that it mind. Don't get me wrong I just attended the rally in Columbia Mo, I would have not enjoyed myself as much if the speakers liberal. But maybe more meat about the Fair Tax and less political bashing. Once again nobody bashes our current administration as me, but that's not getting the real word out. Save the political ranting for the much needed Tea Parties. I have tried to read the Fair Tax, for a simple man like me it gets confusing fast. Any retorts would be appreciated.

When I talk to people about the FAIRTAX I never bring politics into it unless I know or find out during the conversation that they are conservative like me. And there are conservative democrats out there to, a recent poll said something like 42% of Americans were conservative 20% were liberal and half of the conservatives were democrats and half of the independent types were republican, seems like most people are confused. But one thing seems like you can count on is practically everyone wants to keep all the money they can and they are not confused about that.
Your idea maybe one option but I think Fair Tax supporters also need to face the reality The Fair Tax is anathema to the socialists idea of big government. The most effective method to have both parties sign onto the Fair Tax is by expanding the base large enough to exert pressure on all Congress critters in order to make them understand they either support The Fair Tax or lose their jobs. It's time to play hardball and stop trying to cozy up to those who will never accept The Fair Tax without pressure.
I agree 100%, just concerned about getting them in the door.
I'm afraid I have to agree that it was a tad too partisan; a simple prayer at the beginning would have been ok. I think more focus on Founding Fathers' principles of government rather than partisanship is a better way to go. Fair Tax is a 'big tent' and includes all those from all political persuasions. Still really glad I attended, though. It was way cool being with a bunch of other FairTaxers!

Regarding reading the Fair Tax Book: there were a few places that I had to slog through. Why? Because it takes a bit more thorough understanding of a given area of financial dealings than I have. I will probably scrutinize these areas more closely just for my own knowledge and comfort level. I'm teachable, after all! LOL I will never fully grasp some particulars in the corporate world because it's just not my cup of tea, but I'll know enough to know if we're getting rooked.
Read it again and enjoy the parts you understand, then read it again a few months later. That's my game plan with both books. Seems some things just sink in better the more I look it at.
I think we need to focus on the "We the people" verses "Washington" mentality. NIETHER of the two parties support the FairTax.
Precisely. We are all in this together and the Fair Tax benefits everybody, no matter who or where you are politically. I think that needs to be the focus of a Fair Tax Rally.
